Hello,
I bought 007 First Light, activated it through Steam, installed it, and it just… doesn’t work. The game simply won’t launch. I already tried uninstalling both the game and Steam completely and reinstalling them, but it didn’t help. What could be causing this issue?
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, and I searched for any hidden Steam files as well, but nothing helps.
I should also mention that before this, I bought the game from some shady website that asked me to place certain files into my Steam folder. Yeah, I know — stupid mistake. I got a refund from them and then bought a legitimate digital version on Steam, but the game still refuses to work.
Am I banned somehow, or is there a way to fully fix this?
And please, don’t judge me for making dumb decisions.
