I used a counterfeit Lyrica pill that I was told was 300 mg (though I’m not sure of the exact amount). I took it with several beers.

The effect was very mild. I just felt a little more relaxed, happier, and maybe slightly more talkative for the night. My drunken state was not clearly intensified, and there was no confusion, dizziness, or anything remarkably different from being normally drunk. I slept like a baby, and the effect continued throughout the day like a euphoric relaxed feeling and slowly vanished around the night.

Now I’m worried about the possibility of a drug test because my workplace does random testing, and I have to report tomorrow. If they test me immediately when I arrive, it will have been about 80 hours since I took it. It was a one-time use, and I had never used anything like that before. I know it was a stupid decision, and I already regret it.

I’m also worried that the pill could have contained other substances like meth, benzodiazepines, fentanyl or other opioids, or maybe even THC. Even though people say it’s unlikely, I still feel anxious about it. As far as I know, regular panels usually do not test for pregabalin, which is why I used it in the first place, but I’m afraid of possible contaminants.

What do you guys think? Should I just take sick leave and avoid going to work tomorrow?

Hey everyone, unfortunately yesterday I took a sketchy underground-made 300mg Lyrica together with beer. The capsule looked like a normal Lyrica pill, red and white colored.

At first the effects felt like mild anxiety, then later it turned into a subtle relaxation feeling. Even though I drank several beers with it, there weren’t any strong effects like extreme sleepiness, confusion, excessive talking, clumsiness, or mental fog. I just felt a bit more relaxed and a subtle sense of euphoria.. I slept comfortably through the night and woke up feeling okay this morning, although even now (around 16 hours later) I still feel like there’s a mild lingering relaxed effect.

The thing that’s stressing me out is that my job requires random drug testing. Normally pregabalin isn’t included in the standard panels where I live, but my fear is that maybe the capsule contained something else entirely without me knowing — like meth, fentanyl, benzos, or some other substance that is tested for.

Do you guys think this is something I should genuinely worry about, or am I probably overthinking it based on the effects I described?
