In need of advice
Can anyone give me some advice I had to put a trace on my refund a month ago because it still hasn’t been given to me and the irs couldn’t find it -backstory I had sent it to an account that no longer exists back in February and it’s been god knows where and on the 7th of this month turbo tax said that they’ve sent it back to the irs minus their fees and they gave me a lead number but when I called them the day after they said they would put the lead number in the notes on my file but I am wanting them to look for it do I just ask for it to be escalated? Or do you guys think I’ll have to wait till August to receive it because of my trace … I received a letter in the mail today about it being deposited backin February to the wrong account I feel like I’m being lead astray from their lack of actually trying to get my refund to me
