Unitary Executive Theory and Conservatism
Question: I come from a background as a democrat and am flummoxed as to how Unitary Executive Theory comes out of Conservative government theory. From my understanding it seems a very Federalist and “big government” idea and in simple concept that seems the antithesis of small government, state rights and Republican ideals. What am I missing besides this being a Federalist society power grab for fascism? Or am I misremembering my AP government of the modern day connection to founding fathers government theory.
