Over The Counter…PSA
Soooo I use Advil regularly for headache, aches, pains etc throughout the month and never thought anything of it. I knew to avoid them after transfer and during the TWW.
However, I’m currently preparing for my transfer next Friday and I was about to take some last night and something told me to stop and check to see if they affect your lining 1st. I was horrified to learn they don’t directly affect your lining but they can affect IMPLANTATION and DELAY OVULATION!!
I never knew this and I know for a fact I’ve been taking them right up until hours before my previous transfers!!
Just thought I’d share just in case anyone else might need to know! Be mindful of the over the counter things we take regularly that we may not think would affect an IVF cycle!! I am really kicking myself right now thinking about all the embryos I could have ruined by doing this!
