Opened by first booster box yesterday and pulled Captain Pika, is it worth spending my time and money to grade it? What do you guys think it can get? There seems to be a tiny bump in the foil in front (not sure if its very visible in last pic), will it affect much?
newbie collector here
i have a number of cards that i keep in a drawer dedicated to storing cards alone, but a number of them kind of curled up along the sides. most of these are cards with holo film and are kept in a stack in the drawer. theyre all pretty new since i pulled them last week and not played at all so im pretty surprised this is happening.
how can i flatten them? ive seen people use heat presses but i dont have one and would rather not spend money to get one, or will stacking flat heavy items on top help? my chemistry textbook has been sitting on top of some of them since yesterday in hopes of being able to flatten them, but theyre still quite bent.
also, is there a certain way i should store them to prevent this from happening again, other than using sleeves and toploaders as i dont have enough for my cards at the moment
