Golf App - Love and Hate Relationship
Starting off, I'm not a good golfer. I don't play fairway golf. My balls tend to hook or slice along the sides of the holes.
I love the Amazfit golf app with one exception - as soon as you leave the green to the right or left, the GPS no longer sees you in the target area of the hole map, and assumes you're done with the hole.
Yes, you can get it back by swiping down - but you don't get distance to pin because you are 'off the map' - walking back to the fairway can get you a rough idea as you reappear on the hole, but if you're hitting from the trees, you can't get the GPS to tell you the distance.
My golfing buddy has a Garmin, and he gets GPS distance to pin no matter how bad his lie.
Of course, also, with the swing monitor, I don't know why it won't track my swing count for me minus my putts...but that's probably a much harder ask.
