That is not how HR zones work Amazfit...

Zones manually set, but it really hates anything over what it has decided my max should be.

A range 5 that goes backwards is particularly funny...

Very low pulse at night?

Hi everyone,

I’m feeling dizzy today and having some gastrointestinal issues. I just looked at my sleep data and was very surprised by the results. Apparently, my heart rate dropped to 23 bpm. Is this cause for concern? Should I see a doctor? What do you think, or could this just be a measurement error?

Amazfit Helio Ring + Amazfit / Other Brand Watches — Good Combo or Sync Issues?

Hey all, quick question! Does anyone use both an Amazfit Helio Ring and an Amazfit watch together? Do they work well together, or do they mess up fitness data or syncing in any way?

Also, does the Helio Ring work properly with watches from other brands, or is it mainly optimized for Amazfit devices only? Curious about real-world experiences before buying. Thanks!

Sell - Anyone interested in the new Cheetah Ultra 2

Anyone interested in the watch? I wanted to test Amazfit, but I personally don't like it that much. Therefore, I am selling the watch again at a cheaper price.

The watchfaces available for the Active Premium 3 kinda suck

I came from Apple Watch to Amazfit because I wanted a multi day battery device. But man. The faces are kinda crap. They either have way too much datapoints that clutter up the watch face or they looked like they were designed by a 6 year old with a color addiction. Why is it so hard to find a face that doesn’t lag, shows heart rate, steps, weather and caloric burn. I mean. Amazfit are the worst offender. They have some nice pre baked designs…..that you can’t customise the complications for…for some reason.

Zepp/Amazfit sync to Apple Health / other Apps

Hey everyone! I’m specifically wondering about Amazfit watches and Apple Health on iOS. Do Amazfit devices sync health data properly into Apple Health, especially things like HRV, sleep, heart rate, workouts, etc.? Or are there still issues/missing data? Would love to hear some real-world experiences before buying one.

Thanks

BIP Max Arrived

Some quick first thoughts.

Only had this thing for like 15 minutes but there's a lot packed in here.

Size: Picture makes it look huge but it's just the angle. On the wrist it wears sleeker than you'd think. Because of the sensor bump out at the back of the watch it sits a smidge higher than I'd like, but it's more wearable than I thought. In fact, if the screen were any smaller I think it would be harder to read. The screen size is a great feature here, especially when I'm not simply looking at it to tell the time, I'm reading several pieces of health data.

Big firmware update as soon as I turned it on. Most stuff works fine but a couple settings are acting up and the maps have some bugs. Not terrible though, just needs another patch or two.

Comfort is gonna take some getting used to. I normally wear steel sports watches and the sensor on this sticks out pretty far. Can feel it pressing into my wrist. Maybe it'll break in or I'll just get used to it.

OS is snappy though. Very little lag clicking through menus. I haven't worn a smart watch since an early Apple Watch. When I turn the watch face up towards me to look at the time, it feels like the delay is a few ms too long. But again, I don't have smart watch experience outside of like Apple Watch circa 2016.

Great watch face options. Thought they'd be more limited out of the box and you'd have to download custom open source ones through creators here. But, the number of cool face design options was impressive and many look useful.

Feature rich watch overall. Remarkable for what's packed into this at $99. Beautiful Amoled screen.

Included wristband is really comfortable. Feels like good quality material.

Screen gets smudged easily, but I figure that's any watch with a touchscreen.

Still messing around with it so I'll update once I've worn it for a few days.

Balance 2-What is the point of the skin temperature data page options if they are not functional?

I asked support why these don't ever give readouts during my workouts and I was straight up told by support that the skin temperature measurements are not meant to work during workouts? And then I realized that there are 6 very specific measurements, e.g. min/max temps.

Has anyone gotten these to work and what is the point of having non-functional options? If there is an option to add a data point it should be measurable

"Regarding the skin temperature chart, please note that this feature is only recorded and displayed under specific conditions and supported workout types."

For Ultramarathon Runners... How do you extend your battery life?

So I got the Amazfit Bip 6 because it was cheap and has offline maps but I noticed that while running it goes through 5-10% battery life per hour. While wearing normally or sitting on a desk the drop is minimal, but I really need it to last for 24+ hours when doing longer races.

Does anyone know how the drain will change if I turn off the continuous heart rate monitor and the Bluetooth? I don't need the heart rate monitor during these runs and am assuming Bluetooth isn't needed until I am uploading my workout.

I could do the tests myself I suppose doing the same runs week after week and measuring the differences, but it would be great if someone just had the answer since I won't have long enough to do this enough times to make me feel confident in the result.

Helio strap or fitbit air

I have never owned a fitness tracker before and im very curious to know weather I should get the amazfit helio strap or the fitbit air. I am mainly using it for

- sleep (very important)

- accurate steps

- recovery

- HR tracking

- Alarms

Im curious to know weather the amazfit helio is more accurate than the fitbit air. and yes before you say. I know the embargo hasn't been lifted yet but im asking based on predictions.

I currently have the fitbit air on pre-order but also have the opportunity to get the helio strap (very rare)

Keep in mind for the helio strap I’ll pay 190$
For the Fitbit air I already pre ordered it for 140$ (with international shipping via Amazon) but money isnt really an issue for me

Heart rate monitoring is garbage compared to an Apple Watch

I have an Active 2 Round

Usage:
Rock climbing 2-3 days a week
Weight lifting 2-3 days a week
Elliptical machine 1-2 days
Walking 1-2 days

The watch picks up my heart rate correctly maybe 25% of the time.

I’ve tried 4-5 different bands to adjust tightness. Rebooted. Moved it around on my wrist. Never had to do all this with an Apple Watch.

My last Apple Watch was about 90% on getting heart rate info.

I also only get 2-3 days of battery.

I’m almost definitely going back to Apple at the next release.

Cheetah 2 Pro watch face for T Rex 3

Hey all, does anyone know what the watch face is in the Cheetah Pro 2 ad? I'd like it for my T Rex 3 if possible

Amazfit active 2 or active 3 premium for a cyclists (mainly in the city)

I have a small wrist - 14.5cm (5.7in). I'm attaching a photo of my wrist with my current watch I want to replace - Samsung Galaxy watch 4 40mm.

I see that both Amazfit watches are similar in size - 45mm. Will that look too large on my wrist?

I'm looking for a watch with a good battery life and fairly accurate gps - I'm a bike courier and I like to track my routes, so I use my watch around 4-5h a day 3-4 times a week.

I don't really care for offline music, replying to notifications, etc, bc I always have my phone with me.

I've nailed it down to these two models, (the 2 in the base model because I can't find the premium version in my country and I'd like to buy local). The 2 is 95€ and the 3 premium is 159€

I see that the 2 has better gps capabilities but the 3 premium has larger battery and storage, among other sensor updates. I'd like to use my watch for at least a couple of years, so maybe the 3 premium will receive more updates? But is the 60€ more worth it in my case, I'm not sure how they'll compare in real time usage.

(I also had my eyes on the BIP 6 but the 46.3mm size will definitely be too large on my wrist with it being square rather than round)

Battery life

Hi all,
Just recently upgraded to a T-Rex 3, last Tuesday. I charged it to 100% and today Thursday is at 20%, I’ve seen people post that their watch last more than 20 days,

Curious what is the set up like? To make it last longer ?

TIA
