Hello there, I was planning to make a visual novel on a fantasy world setting and had some questions on what are the ways people generally make backgrounds.

I am against the use of AI for art and have art experience in making characters, but I hear people say it takes a lot of time to make just one background image if you make it from scratch.

So could anyone who has experience in this tell what are the ways that can speed up the process of either making or getting background art for a visual novel without using AI?
