I am a trans man and came out about 2 years ago. Transition is going well so far. Am on T and have top surgery in 2 days (so excited!).

I have been thinking about changing my name and have had an ongoing list of potential choices for a while. One big problem, my favorite masculine name… I gave it to my dog 6 years ago. I have always loved that name (it was my grandfather’s) and now I don’t know what to do. Do I just accept that I have the same name as my dog for around 6 years or pick a different one?
