Well, i played DF Adventure Mode, for much time, to be honest that type of game always i don't know scratched a part of my brain that i can't explain, but just loves the freedom of that type of game.

(Even if it's just letters and numbers like classic DF)

Anyway, saw a video about this, was about to scroll down but i clicked it and DAMN WORTH IT.

To be honest, i wanted to dive in blinded, because i find that way more fun than to read a bunch of guides.

Anyway that have been my experience with my first and only character until now(i don't know how i'm still alive)

Day 1:

Alright, so i clicked to play with a character randomized.

Anyway, here we start with my man: Dave Daveson.

A Mohawk, leather jacket, a smartphone and cigarettes, kinda rad guy, my first impression was being a fucking badass motorcycle hero.

Found out very quickly looking around my stats that i can't drive and swim.

No combat abilities at all and i can only MEDITATE.

I'm 2m, fuck yeah

I have 51kg, what ??

Presumes that Dave was some punk buddhist wannabe.

My Str and Spd are 4.

Fuck, bad roll i guess ?

My Int is 13, that's good ?

Anyway, looking around i see that i'm in a "Shelter" looks around, there's no one, just a dead corpse in the showers in the underground.

In him i found a water proof watch and sunglasses.

Why not? I wear both.

I hear screams while scavenging and when i get in the surface there's three panicked survivors running in my direction with a fat zombie, three zombo children and a headless zombie ?? WHAT THE FUCK.

I run to the opposite side, when i think i'm outspeeding them, one of this fuckers run by my side and outspeed me, one of the little meat munchers grab my leg, so that begins, my epic fight against the cannibal of fourth grade.

Don't know how, but i fucking crits his head with a headbutt and kills him, this after he made me his little bitch for a time.

Thought this was my end to be honest, i didn't have idea how to heal, even less the resources.

But i get to the city and for my surprise i sneak to the hospital, looking for anything, i was literally falling to the ground from pain.

Get some medicals supplies, the place is fucking empty?

I get to the second floor and i found another named survivor, James, the guy was pretty badass and had a rifle and good equipments, i try to interact with him a few times, but suddenly he decides to shoot some zombies from the windows??

WHAT, the creatures start crawling from the bottom floor, i see this man fucking obliterate 6 runners and two child zombies with fire, until a feral cop gets close, reap his leg open and tries to stab him to death only to him kill it with a bunch of hits with his rifle.

Anyway, this happened while i ran to the stairs, my last view is one of this brute zombies fucking blowing his head with a punch.

I get to the roof, closes the door, hears the banging, holy shit i'm fucking dead.

Looks around, there's a neighboor roof! Jumps to it? I see the options some times but i get the courage and do.

HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T FALL AND DIE.

Run to the stairs for the floor below.

Alright, i'm in a large building.

Two top floors are empty, first floor have zombies, near the stairs i counted at least ten.

I'm in bad sheets.

Anyway, i hide in one of the apartments, heal myself, rest, eat and drink.

I read to see if i can get something, the place had many books.

After that, i sleep.

End of day one, what a fucking day.

Day 2:

Dave wakes up in the middle of night, 2:34 AM, shots, to the east, i see the horde below attracted by the shots of James just going there.

Alright, my chance, i sneak to the first floor, holy shit, the dark in this game really is dark.

I decide to go to a weapon shop that i see early in the map.

The place is with the door destroyed and windows blasted, mirror and wood everywhere.

No weapons :'(

Starts wondering if god has forsaken Dave from any fortune.

I hear a scream, NO NO AGAIN.

A FUCKING PANICKED SURVIVOR AGAIN, and looks exactly like the fucker from the road, i-it can't be right?

Anyway, he's with zombies in him, i run from one of the window.

I run, holy shit, I RAN LIKE A ATHLETE.

Zig zag, passing by and closing door, that type of shit.

I get to the forest, a feral cop runs right behind me, that thing got locked in the trees.

Alright, i'm in the wilderness again.

Big city sucked, trauma.

I go to the north, after some more trees and road, i start thinking how i'm alive, i only killed a zombie, don't have good weapons and equips, only running and hiding, well, i survived and James don't, so maybe that's the way ?

I see some zombies with strange clothes and notice a water treatment center.

Get over the fence, inside it there's some of them locked in rooms, i can hear they walking and slamming in stuff.

Found the lockers, cool, good vests, hard hat and a face shield.

Equip myself.

Now i have a drip.

Try to jump back the fence.

I can't

WHAT ?

Try some more, can't do it.

Don't know if is related but i throw some stuff in the ground.

YES, i jump.

Anyway, starts walking to the north again.

Spend a day walking and nothing happening.

Found a camp with dead bodies.

Loots a lighter, take a smoke.

While smoking one of them get's up, a zombie.

Get's ready to fight, but he just wanders off ? What.

That was bizarre.

Get to sleep in one of the tents.

Bad day, but better than the other one.

Day 3:

I wake up, full night of sleep, get's off the tent.

The other body disappeared, what.

Take another smoke, decides to go back to the road, i need to find resources, the ones i hoarded are ending.

Before going, i get the bag of the camp, tries to make the bike works, didn't work.

:'(

I walk to the north, almost fucking eight hours walking and hiding.

Much hordes in the road.

One of the followed me, but for some reason they all focused in a thing that i didn't take a good look but was like a humanoid insect ?

I go to the northwest and found a little city.

"Deep River"

HOLY SHIT, blood, blood everywhere.

Corpses of zombies, corpses of animals, people, what happened.

Walking from the road to the center of the city, there's a Overconfindent Officer.

He don't wanna chat and just makes a click noise.

He's frozen in place, with a lot of blood and zombies dead around him.

Checking him, looks in very bad shape.

Starts looting around, i found a KATANA.

Holy shit, was in a named corpse, the dude didn't have a sprite was just minced meat, God have him.

In one of the houses, there a survivor, one of these parents looking for his children.

Everywhere in the house are dead corpses and him in the corner.

Loots around comes back to talk to him, he's not there anymore, what amused more was that he was unscratched.

No damage, anyway.

I walk around, the city is a hellscape of blood and corpses.

Eat some food.

Read some books, i found a eletric bike!

Try to rides it.

Fucking falls and hits walls.

Got the way.

The falls and hits attracted some zombos.

I ride it back to the Officer with them following me.

The dude slimes them no diff.

Holy shit.

Starts riding them after tries to interact with him a little more, to no result.

I ride the bike to another shelter after a time.

The place has two people in there!

I talk to them, Bandits-?

They fucking shoot me in the right arm, HOLY SHIT THAT HURTS.

I starts riding full speed

Shit wrong button.

I fucking drive the shooter over with the bike and he DIES.

The other dude, with a knife screams and runs to the other side, he gets mauled to death by the zombie dogs.

I get to the bike again, i don't know how but i got to evade all the trees in the way.(I was anxious and just kept pressing <,>,up)

Holy shit i am alive.

But the bike don't works anymore.

"Not enough wheels" or smthg.

Treat my arm.

I hear steps, grab my katana.

I look and is a petrified survivor.

He's just there, petrified in the woods.

I say good afternoon.

Well, shamed, i walk back to Deep River.

There was the main character.

Overconfindent Officer, same place.

After nearly two days awaken, Dave takes a sleep.

Day 4:

I start living in one of the houses near the Officer, that i called Joe.

I thing i figured out how to fortify the place, sucks that i don't have the skill.

I see a plane in the sky.

The day is pretty much reading, playing in one of this games found in some zombies children.

But i really want to see if the shelter has something or the corpses of the bandits.

I pretty much pass all the day looting and sorting the items of Deep River.

My house is fucking loaded.

Starts getting dark.

The morale of Dave is pretty good, which is a surprise because was rock bottom the other two days.

I eat, drink and read.

That was the day, no zombos.

No survivors.

No PANICKED survivors(Hope they get extinct)

Joe is still in the same place.

He don't walks.

Sleeps.

Wakes up, with strange noises.

A ZOMBIE.

Joe didn't shoot it?

I get out of the house, and kills the zombie with ease to my surprise.

Oh no, i found Joe dead.

In the same place...

He never got out the place.

Where this thing came from ?

I remember the parent...could it be ? Nah, right ?

Don't know how to make a funeral in the game, but i would have made to this beast.

Go sleep with crippling depression.

(Me, Dave is morale maxed, fucking psycho).

P.S:

That's all for now, if gets in my nerves again i will make new posts about the save.

Fucking insane game, but i wish we could make the generic survivors in named survivors somehow.

(I don't know if possible)

To be honest, the thing that most bugged my brain is how to interact with named characters.

The bandits just tried kill me.

That James ignored me and basically offed himself with dumb shoot.
