St Petersburg Termites

I live in a large apartment complex in St. Petersburg, FL. For the past 3 years, I’ve had termite swarms start this week in May between 6:15-6:45AM, and they continue for about 3-4 weeks. It’s extremely consistent, same date, same time window, same duration.

During that period I try to keep lights off, but getting ready in the morning makes that impossible. Every year I submit maintenance requests, and they’ll come spray inside or do a little spot treatment on “suspicious” areas. But the swarms still happen exactly the same way regardless.
From what I understand, in a big apartment complex the colony is usually in the soil or the building structure, not necessarily inside my unit.

Is it even worthwhile to try to hold the complex responsible for a real, building‑level fix? Or is this just something that’s basically unavoidable unless the entire property commits to full termite treatment
