[WIP] Why didn't NASA do this? Are they stupid?

WIP Future Space Shuttle. One of it's main differences is that, compared to the original NASA Orbiter Vehicle, these carry way more fuel and, combined with Aerospike engines, are able to fly more autonomously, although they still requiere aid to get to orbit.

Orbiter Vehicle Specifications as of now:

→ Loaded Weight: 171,51 tons

→ Engines: 3x Aerospike Engines with 200t x 3 thrust + 2x Service Ion Engines (TBA)

→ Crew: 5-10

What do you think?

Rhodes Capsule

This is Rhodes. It's an, as you can see, crew capsule that is a weird mix between the Orion capsule in shape and Dragon 2 in functions. It can carry up to 5 astronauts and is designed for long-term spaceflights and even other solar systems. In terms of lore, unlike real life, these things are mass produced due to the high demand of astronauts (400000+)

So, what do you think? As in, the build. I'm somewhat rusty but i like the result a lot.
