I’m moving to the North Shore of Oʻahu for work soon. I’ve never lived in Hawaii before and want to be respectful of the local culture and community.
What customs, etiquette, or unwritten rules would be good to know? Also interested in any general advice about island life, things newcomers should avoid doing, and anything you wish people knew before moving to Hawaii.
