I honestly feel blindsided and don’t know if this is normal or fair.

I left a secure job because I was offered what was presented to me as a long-term opportunity with another company. Based on those promises, I took the risk and switched jobs.

I worked through my probation period, completed all my tasks, never had issues with attendance, barely even got days off, and nobody ever spoke to me about underperformance or concerns. In fact, they kept calling us in saying it was busy.

Now, right before my probation period was about to end, I was suddenly terminated without any real explanation. When I asked for a reason, they couldn’t provide one.

What bothers me most is that if there was genuinely a performance issue, I would understand. But there were no warnings, no feedback, nothing. Just termination out of nowhere after I left a stable job for them.

Has anyone in Nova Scotia dealt with something similar during probation? Do employees have any protection in situations like this, especially when they leave another job based on promises of long-term employment?

I also have a letter from my employer stating I will be with them for long term and they have no issues wirh my performance.

Edit: After reading all the comments I have come to realization that I am fucked. But do you giys know any place that’s currently hiring or something. This was very random and out of nowhere. I didn’t expected it so I had no backup plans.

Sadhaf was clearly trying to get sympathy in today’s dome.

So we all saw what happened but there’s one moment that genuinely irritated me. When the big reveal happened and Tayne chose TTF over his connection with Sadaf, honestly it wasn’t even surprising. From Tayne’s side the feelings clearly looked gone for a while now. If audience could figure that out from a 2 hour episode then obviously people inside the villa, especially Sadaf, already knew too.

What annoyed me more was Tayne trying to justify it so much. Like just accept it and move on, that’s it. No need to over explain everything.

Then comes Deep and Sandy. Sandy chose TTF for whatever reasons she had and Deep was talking about his feelings or whatever, but that was literally their moment. Sadaf and Tayne already had theirs before that. But then Sadaf starts with “I wanna go home” and all that. It just felt very sympathy-seeking to me, like “hello guys I’m hurt too, give me attention also.” Like girl pls let somebody else have their moment.

Sadaf honestly feels very fake to me. Also I kinda feel Sandy already knew Deep had a girlfriend outside way before today’s episode and now she’s pretending to not know outside. The way she acted today it was definitely because she knew he had girlfriend. Had she not known before she would’ve bought it out in dome today

And even though I don’t really like Himanshu either, I still feel like he deserved better. If he wasn’t stuck with crass women Diksha he honestly could’ve done way better in the show. The way Diksha talks is just so bad and cheap. Every time she opens her mouth she shits. She’s genuinely sounds illiterate nd I’m not even talking about her English because that’s not the issue. It’s just the mentality and the way she carries herself. All these girls fights and argues but the way Diksha acts is just so uncivilized.

Also, every questioned Tayne when he ditched his connection when he literally said he had no more feelings. Everyone one like “you made fool outta her, she has no one to play the game” but no one questioned Yogesg when he ditched Akanksha. Don’t cone at me saying yogesh did it for love because it doesn’t matter, he made fool out of Akanksha and spoiled her game in between when no one else was available.

Jules looks like she’s a targareyen lol. I just couldn’t get the thought out of my head.

I am loving the show overall, it’s engaging but I feel their’s too much nudity than I m comfortable with. But I am enduring it anyways. I’ll post what I think about s1 after finishing it.
