I have been using credit cards since 2019. Over the years I have used several credit cards and later closed them when I felt they were no longer useful to me. I currently have one credit card that I would also like to close as I plan to move out of the UAE next year and would prefer to use only a debit card going forward.

Whenever I called a bank to cancel a credit card they told me that my request had been forwarded for processing. After that I never followed up to confirm whether the card had actually been closed.

I would now like to know if there is a way for me to personally check whether there are any active credit cards under my name. How can I do this?
