Is there anyway to fix a break on the heel like this? These are my absolute favourite shoes :(

I bought these shoes bought a year ago, second hand. They cost me about £6. I wear them often. They are my favourite shoes ever. I want to be buried in them. There is no brand on them as it’s worn off.

I’ve recently taken them on holiday where I got caught in terrestrial rain. The water soaked through the shoes and caused the bottom of the heel to crack. I have taken them to a shoe repair store, but they said they couldn’t repair it because it’s broken at a pressure point. Is there anything I can do to salvage these shoes? Any DIY? I am emotionally attached to these shoes and was planning on graduating in them this summer. Any advice is appreciated, I’m absolutely heart broken :(

Is this appropriate for a smart office?

I’m a new hire, very junior position. The men are in suits, the women wear various professional attire. Is this appropriate?

EDIT: This is a dress, not a skirt&top. The lines underneath the top of the dress are from the tights and shorts I was wearing
