First Day of Work Outfit

Tomorrow is my first day of work at my first full time job after graduating from college. Dress code is business casual however, I’m unsure if for the first day if it’s best I wear more business professional. Would like to hear what others might think for what’s best to do on the first day. Thanks

Can this be business casual?

My sister says this top absolutely can not be styled as business casual. I don't get it. I am currently working toward medical school which requires business casual attire and I am currently trying to slowly build my business casual wardrobe hence the discussion. I look forward to hopefully proving her wrong as I have already bought the top. (My personal style is a combo of athletic, causal, goth so I'm trying to make my business casual style corporate goth esque)

Update. Okay. I get it lol. I have no clue about business wear. My sister is pleased as a peach to hear you tell her she's right (I will never live this down but thats okay I love her and she deserves a win). I (26f) am a paramedic right now which means my work attire is tactical pants and boots. I have never needed more than a nice dress for special occasions. Thank you for those who gave guidance. I'm planning my wardrobe a year and a half ahead of schedule because I knew I needed time to learn what's business appropriate (I'm still completing my bachelor's to go to medical school). If anyone has any suggestions to choose better with the aesthetic I mentioned I'd love some suggestions please.

Office Shoes to Wear Socks With

My office is always cold - so much that I have my desk heater on in Texas summer. What shoes are y'all wearing??

I normally wear dress pants (wide leg, ankle, or flare) or a dress. Currently own brown leather boots but need more options, especially with black pants or dresses. Please none that require super low cut/no-show socks. Mid range budget. Business casual environment.

TIA!

I’m back to work in retail after a year and soon starting to work as a graphic designer. Slide 7 is what I wore to the last interview.

It’s summer, so these looks are pretty much the opposite of my old posts. Right now it’s all about cotton, linen, viscose, and silk. I still can’t give up my wool trousers, and I’ll always find a reason to throw on a leather jacket.

Brands for a very small frame

I recently took an executive role where I’ll be part of SLT and board facing often. I’m typically very well dressed but I currently work in tech where the dress code is more flexible. I’m having an issue finding brands that fit a very small frame (00, 24, XXS, 32 inch bust, 25 inch waist and 32 inch hips and 5’5) that are executive and also fashionable. HELP!

Are these trousers too fitted for a business-casual office?

I’m building a business casual wardrobe and really like the look of these high waisted pleated trousers, but I’m wondering if they’re too fitted to be office appropriate, especially from the back. Is the fit okay, or would you size up, tailor them, or try a different cut?

TGIF PREPPY (I tried)

So I have polos and I never know how to style them. Probably because summer preppy style doesn’t come naturally to me. So I tried, dont think it is 100% preppy though.

T-shirt : Lacoste
Trousers : H&M
Shoes : Chloe

Outfit of The Day

Plan to wear this blazer open but wanted to share what it also looks like closed. It’s from the Devil Wears Prada Scoop collection at Walmart. Half off for $27.

Wearing pumps matching the belt. No earrings 🤦🏻‍♀️
