I call her Aurora borhairialis (terrible name I know)

Dyed this wig myself. No info to share on the wig as it is from a wholesaler who only takes orders from business owners.

Another project under the belt + my sunset wig dream 😍 after & before

I did another hair project hehe 😆 y'all know how I dyed that other wig a couple months ago but wished it came in higher density? I finally have my dream wig to customize 🥹.

Usually I don't wear frontals but ya girl was here for the density I was gonna figure out the frontal situation later. Let's get into the dyeing process as I know that's why y'all are here!

I first washed, blowdried, and flat ironed the hair. I do this before coloring to give myself a nice flat surface to color. I then section the hair, I usually do four rows in the back and then dye the frontal or closure. For this dye job in particular let's just say I made some mistakes.

Mistake 1. I used brown dye with a lot of yellow in it and then proceeded to let the wig sit in a bath of purple shampoo for too long and the water causes the brown dye to leak and turn the top layer of the wig a super ugly yellow.

Mistake 2. When it was time to fix the wig I only had two dyes and a dream, one of those dyes being bright Spider-Man red.

Mistake 3. I made my own custom lilac color but there was too much blue so when I put it over top the yellow bits it instead turned green 😫.

Let's talk solution! I made the rough call and realized that I had to bleach the hair. So I went section by section and bleached the hair using schwartzkopf blond me and 20vol developer. The hair bleached SUPER fast so I had to be SUPER careful as to not cause breakage. The hair took bleach AMAZING like I was half expecting to just have to throw the wig out because you definitely should NOT bleach 613 hair on a wig, 613 hair is already super processed so while this worked out for me, if you don't know what you're doing with bleach DO NOT attempt this like AT ALL.

Overall the quality of the wig was insane haha, definitely the highest quality wig I've gotten from the big companies especially for a 613. The lace is good and I wear the wig glueless due to the fit being really good. This wig is thicccccccc and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm going to be cutting more layers into it soon so that I can get those really big bombshell curls!!

I wish I had photos before I fixed it just so you guys could see the miracle I performed. I was just too embarrassed by the result to even take photos of that mess 😭

Luvme full lace wig - first time braiding!

Tried something new!!!

I'm always looking for new ways to style wigs to my specific taste.

The base for this wig is a 16in body wave full lace wig. I decided to turn it into a braided unit, but some things needed to happen first. The texture of the wig was too smooth for braids, so I needed to find a way to make the texture more kinky. For that, I used a small crimping iron and then combed out the parts to create an almost blown-out 4c texture. After that, it was "easy-peasy" from there. I just had to braid the wig, with only one problem: I don't really know how to braid. 😅

While I do love how the wig turned out, I will be the first to admit that it's a "good from faraway" type of experience. Family at my brother's birthday thought it looked great, but the perfectionist in me can't help but see the flaws. Please do not be like me and decided to not use gel on the hair. I promise you it will save you in the long run in terms of flyaways.

In the end I feel like this was a really rewarding experience and I have learned where I went right and where I went wrong. I definitely want to try out more styles but I like the braids too much to take them down 😅 I might just have to get a new one to experiment with haha.

One of my fav wigs of all time

Unfortunately, no link is available as this is a wholesale-only company that I got it from, and they don't do retail. But I love this wig so much. I wore it for Thanksgiving, and I love it.Sometimes I low-key love having a failed business, haha, it's great to be able to buy wholesale.

Sorry your panera sucks.... Mine is great!

Like the title says I'm very sorry your panera sucks, my panera is great and makes their food fresh and still actively has a kitchen! The portion sizes are great and the food tastes great. I've been eating at my local panera for over 10 years and the quality hasn't gone down, we still have a bakery with a bunch of items idk what's going on with the rest of your paneras' but I'm sorry 😔🤧

The only thing I'm pissed about is them getting rid of the coffee cake, it was hands down the best dessert on the menu. The kitchen sink cookie is great but it will never be her...

Csi miami is the best of the csis' hear me out - semi not so serious post

Horatio caine is truly the greatest character in existence and I feel as though people watch CSI: Miami the wrong way.

Watch CSI Miami as if it's in the mind of Horatio caine as a dramatic retelling of the case from that day. Horatio's character and his supporting cast make the most sense when you know that David caruso was actually a dick in real life who wanted to be a movie star.

Delko and Wolfe are D1 crashouts and I love them. Horatio is just straight up dangerous and Walter and Calliegh are just cinnamon rolls. I feel like Boa Vista isn't a crashout but she's definitely participated in some of Horatio's shenanigans.

Stop trying to watch this show like it's serious and start watching this show for the Theatre kid cinema that it is. This show is an absolute masterpiece it is truly the cocomelon of the CSI franchise the young and the restless, the bold and the beautiful of crime shows. This is premium television that you can't just get from anywhere!!!!!

A journey begins - a full lace wig semi review

I bought my first full lace wig!!! The lace is great and the knots are bleached really well. I can tell this wig can have SO much versatility. I got the wig in 16in but I low-key wish I got it in a longer length as I prefer longer wigs but since I wanted to do a very specific project I decided against it but I'm still hopeful

I originally wanted to wear this wig to a wedding by creating my own braid style but soon found out that I was way in over my head and the style of hair was far too smooth for what I wanted. The texture is good for curls and flat ironed styles but not the greatest for braids haha.

So I abandoned ship and decided to do the rubber band method to crochet locs. It was going AMAZING until I realized I made the wig far too heavy and hot for a wedding. This wig has some potential and I definitely wasted it. I'm going to play around with this wig for a while and see what styles I can come up with! I will be sure to leave you guys updated.

Wanted to make a 30 day update on this 613 wig!

Little update post about how this little experiment went! I did have some patchiness issues but I didn't wash the wig before dyeing it and it was my first time doing a project like that. The color turned out great and you can't really see any of the mistakes so I'm still super happy! I'm super happy with the lace and the fact that I don't have to glue it down at all. The only couple of things I didn't like were the density and the number of flyaways, but the flyaways aren't too much of an issue once the hair is styled. This wig really comes alive once you wash and style it, and it moves better than when you first pull it out of the package. So while the wig isn't a throw-n-go right out of the box, ultimately, once you get it to the place that you want it, it's a great wig to just throw on. I also really like the fit of the wig as well, it's like PERFECT (for my head, at least, since I'm a true medium). Overall, I would give the wig an 8/10 and would give it a 10 if a 200% density version becomes available in the future.

I wish I got more pictures of me wearing the wig but I'm really bad at taking photos when I go out haha. I have washed the wig more than once and it held up on the second wash. Since I wear my wigs glueless, I only really wash them one to two times a month, as I only use two products on my wigs, so I don't really have to deal with build-up. I also cut 2 or so inches off of the wig when I finished dyeing it and that definitely helped with the movement and made it flow better. Like I said above I think this wig would be PERFECT with higher density. If that 200% ever hits I am SAT.
