PS: I’m reposting this because I realized my other post had too many images and they were far away/with sunglasses. I think this one will be easier to vote!

So ..
1- short blonde hair
2- long blonde hair
3- medium light brown hair
4- medium blonde/reddish (curly hair)
5- even shorter blonde hair
6- long red hair (and red eyebrows)
7 and 8 medium red hair (lighter or darker)
9- long light brown hair

Am I right to be upset?

I went in for a cut and showed my inspo photo at the consultation 3 days before, uploaded it onto my intake form before the consultation and then again showed it on the day I wanted it cut. I spent $110 at a well respected salon in my area. And I’m mortified. Am I overreacting or is this badly cut? It’s so blunt and straight - nothing like what I asked for at all. My hair is naturally curly and looks even worse when not styled.

Second last photo was my inspo pic - last photo was what my hair looked like before.

I haven’t felt like this after a haircut for atleast 20 years. The salon is pushing back. I just want some honest opinions from other people and professionals. Thanks

Please help me decide!

I’m about to turn 25, and want a change. My hair is down to my butt rn. I’ve never done anything to my hair before aside from tiny trims, diy face framing, and an AWFUL bob in 5th grade.

Is this normal for a blunt cut?

I had my hair cut last week because it was super broken and dry after doing highlights. I asked for a blunt cut so it would look fuller. But now that I look at it, it just seems uneven, specially when I tilt my head. Is this normal? I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to be. Thank you!

Edit: thank you so much for all your comments. I called the salon and they will fix it tomorrow. Hopefully it will look good after the correction, I’m currently very upset with how bad it looks :(

I’m slowly turning into a redhead and I don’t know how to feel

My colorist is amazing but he’s slowly turned my hair more red over the years lol. Started with blonde highlights, tried brunette at one point (did NOT suit me, no photos of that era for a reason), and lately in trying to go lighter it’s turned into this lowlights + strawberry blonde combo. Kind of missing the color from picture 2 tbh.

Bad perm?

I don’t know I just need to wait a while for this to work itself out or if I really didn’t get what I wanted.

I went in for a perm asking for a very specific style. The lady who does my hair has done it for years and she kept saying “ trust me, trust me, just trust the process , I’m a master stylist and I’ve been doing your hair for years” I feel like she did my curls to tight and they look a mess. Idk how to even style this. Perm was done last Friday.

Do I just wait it out or did she do the wrong size curls?

Pic 1 is what I wanted, 2 and 3 is what I got.

Seeking opinions- Black VS brown VS suggestions?

As the title asks. Here's me with my black hair (2 yrs ago) vs natural (now). Or if anyone has any other color suggestions. My goal was to grow it out and now that's been done, curious what I'd like to try next, if anything. Thanks!

Note: if it helps, my natural texture is pictured with the brown hair.

Does this color suit me? my hair is naturally auburnish brown

I love the look of red hair. I'm just not sure if it suits me. i definitely know it suits me more than blonde, though.

Help - bad haircut

I had a bob. I went to get a trim and the guy asked if I wanted some layers in the back to take some of the weight off. I said yeah, ok.

So wtf is this? What HAPPENED here? I’m so confused and upset. It looks terrible. There are just short crazy layers in a bowl around my head. What can I do to fix this? Is there anything? I genuinely can’t cope with this.

What should I do with my hair?

I’m 23 and work in an office with mostly older people, so while I don’t mind colorful hair at all, I’d rather not have my whole head neon green or something xd I already stand out quite a bit there since I’m the only one with tattoos and piercings.
I’ve had pretty much every hair color over the years (I’ll add some old pics from pink to blue etc.), then had blue-black hair for a few years. I recently washed that out and went brown, and I really don’t want to destroy my hair again now that it’s finally grown out. (1st pic is the most recent)

I get bored really easily with “normal” hair though, so I’d love something a little fun/alternative without going completely crazy. I’m totally open to colored ends, roots, a few pieces, etc. — just not an entire head of super bright color.
Any ideas what you think would suit me? Or should I keep it brown? :)

I'm tierd of trying to fix my hair, I give up

So by the end of one year ago my stupid ass wanted her hair cut and I also bleached the other side of my hair pink then after cutting it my hair started to look wierd also my hair did not look like this before, my hair was smooth and shiny then suddenly after a few cuts hair started looking like a mess now it's hard to brush my short hair because it gets tangled, and I can't have a good hair day without my hair being a total mess even when I brush it it looks like a jungle, Ive tried being nice to my hair and saying positive affirmations to my hair and taking biotin but none of that worked on my hair , Ive waited for my hair to grow but still not seeing any results, my hair got cut on march and April and now it's August and I still see no improvement, I tried putting curl hair gel on my hair but that didn't even last long any bit of on my hair and it went back to looking like a mess the next day, I tried hair oling but I still don't see it change, and I'm very angry and upset because I'm not allowed to cut my hair again or else my sister said it won't grown fast, I don't know of cutting it will solve any problems or make it worse? Im already insecure about my hair tho, idk if it's still damaged and needs a cut

I made a huge mistake

I had hair down to the back of my knees, I went for the big chop yesterday as it was becoming unmanageable.

The stylist didn't listen to a word I said and I've left with the worst hair cut I've ever had. (and the most expensive)

I've lost over half my length and I don't have the Choppy layers or face framing I wanted.

I feel like I've lost a part of myself.

I know it's only hair but after pepping myself for the 'big chop' I feel so disappointed.

My hair is the only classically feminine thing about me physically and I'm struggling to accept that my one stand out feature is gone.

Feels so dumb typing this but I'm honestly so sad.

Wondering what I can do about fresh pink hair

I just got my hair dyed this shade of pink. While I really did like it, my coworkers/manager did not. Yesterday really destroyed my confidence with it, as I had to shave all my hair off for medical reasons and finally got it long and healthy enough to dye it again. I honestly don’t think I can keep the color after what was said to me and I need help.

I really just want it back to a natural color but I don’t want to bleach it again. Is there anything I can do at all? Please help me.

Hair history
-naturally a dark brown
-bleached once down to a light orangey yellow shade
-dyed over pink with got2b pink metallic

Grey hair at 17, why?

I have a grey strand at the front of my hair, will it go away? Will it get worse? Why do I have it? (Had it for a year or two and if it doesn’t go away, I’m hoping for a bigger patch of it to turn grey so it looks like it’s dyed)
