I met the momma cat and her 3 kittens today. They seem happy and playful. There were also no dogs around today, and not also at night. I have taken their photos and put them up for adoption too. Any advice would be helpful !!

so this cat lives in my neighborhood from around 1 year. The people here feed her and ig they take her inside at night. Now recently I got to know that she has 3 really cute kittens ๐ญ BUT
I was coming back from somewhere yesterday and I saw around 6-7 dogs (they all live in my block too) sleeping right in front of the house where the cat momma and her kittens lives. And now I'm scared that the dogs are gonna kill them. Because this had happened before too. They was a cat during lockdown whom I used to feed everyday and she had 4 kittens. One day I was in my balcony and I heard dogs barking. And when I looked down I saw that they have killed one of her kittens (these are the same dogs who are sleeping in front of this cats house btw). I don't know what to do. I would've taken them home but my parents are against it. And they are so small I don't anything to happen to them. ๐ญ any advice is appreciated!

The room has:
White IKEA-style satin wardrobe with black handles (but I think my wardrobe looks too white ๐ญ)
Grey flooring

- Reliable Wi-Fi, since we'll be working from home on some days
- Peaceful and safe
- Clean rooms with basic amenities
- Preferably close enough to restaurants or food options, but still away from the crowds

I'm renovating my room and would love some ideas from people who are better at interiors than I am. I'll be coloring the walls off white.

A few things are fixed:
- A large study table is mandatory.
- I'll be adding floating shelves above the study table and decorating that area myself.
- I prefer a cozy, modern look with lots of small ambient lights instead of one big tube light.

My main questions:

There's a beam above my door, and because of it, the space above the door looks a bit awkward and unfinished. I was thinking about adding a floating shelf there.
- Would a floating shelf above the door look good?
- What would you put there (plants, books, decor pieces, LED lighting, etc.)?
- Is there a better way to make that area look intentional?

I don't want to rely on a big tube light if possible.
