Hair conditioner advice 😭🙏
I have sort of *normal to thick* hair. It has slight natural bounce. Occasional hits of manageable hairfall
But, it is reallyyy dry, brittle and breaks a lot.
I am sooo confused if I should use-
Dove deep repair treatment
L'oreal absolut repair mask
Treseme keratin smooth mask
Please recommend and tell how these worked out for you ( a little about your hair with it for reference)
Why is my scalp oily but I still have dandruff? This makes no sense.
My hair gets greasy so fast, like by day 2 of washing it is already super flat and greasy. But somehow I still get dandruff?? It itches and gets on my nails when I scratch. I thought dandruff was supposed to happen when your scalp is dry.
I’ve reduced oiling, I wash regularly and I don’t even use heavy products. Still this oily and itchy combo keeps happening.
Is this just humidity messing with my scalp or am I doing something wrong?
Whats wrong with my hair!
Seeking advice for whatever this is thats happening to my hair- it used to be very thick and luscious 5years ago but now looks like this (2.5 years pp) the first image is from dec 2025 and second us current!i need to work on reducing breakage on my now fine, color-treated hair. M26: What's the most unconventional/bizarre hair care item that you own?
This is going to be a fun thread where everyone can show off the unique and interesting hair care items that they own. I would go first, I basically own this Pure Emu Oil, which I use on my hair and scalp before massages, it also helps improve hydration retention and is surprisingly light weight and completely non sticky.
Let's see what all surprises this thread brings forth 😝
Extreme hair thinning and loss
I have always had hairfall issues but nowadays its been a lot with hair thinning and chunks of hair just falling. I tried an egg hair mask and it works wonders
I’ve been wanting to upgrade my hair care routine and after doing some research, I decided to try a DIY egg mask. It was the best decision I've ever made. I mixed egg white, curd, coconut oil, and a splash of lemon juice. It has been four days since my wash and my hair is still soft, silky and voluminous. My hair it usually gets greasy and sticky by day two and I have a very busy schedule(mother of a toddler and doctor ) so this really helping me. Highly recommend
Guys i seriously need some help😭
Please guys i want some serious help about my hair. I am 17 years old male and it has been like a year since my hairfall started at first it didn't fall much but as the time went it has increased really alot. Its seems to thin from the front in high amount. Every time i try to touch my hair or even at the time of sleep my hair starts to fall. At my first my hair was normal straight but since 1 year it has been curled up and started to fall too. Idk guys what to do at this point i tried many things but it didn't work out. If this continues all my confidence will just go down and i cant even face people. Like every time people just say your hair has become more thin then before. Idk what to do at this point. Also my scalp is really dry and flakes also come out of it. I am confused if i should use shampoo oil or at what time or what routine should i follow. Please please help me out guys or it will really really rune my life😭😭
Haircare products recommended by an Influencer.
So, I have came across this influencer who has listed out the below products, as part of hair care routine.Since, I am in search of some solid hair care routine and couldn’t completely rely on influencer’s recommendations as we couldn’t differentiate if it’s either genuine or promotion. Hence need all your suggestions and inputs. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Secret black charm oil Rosemary water to the length Dove peptide mask before washing Wella SP shampoo L’Oréal conditioner
Since all these products are kinda costly, don’t want to purchase blindly. I have low porosity medium length hair
What’s one thing that genuinely helped your hair health?
There’s so much conflicting advice online around hair wellness — oils, shampoos, supplements, scalp treatments, vitamins, diets, stress management, etc.
For people who noticed actual improvements:
- what changed things for you?
- was it nutrition-related?
- scalp care?
- stress reduction?
- consistency over time?
Also curious whether people found:
- biotin useful
- amino acids effective
- protein intake important
- lifestyle changes more impactful than products

Suggestions on hair care routine
So I used to have straight hair before I started getting frequent haircuts and I’ve colored/bleached my hair thrice. I have an oily scalp and need to shampoo every alternate day.
My haircare routine is pretty basic:
I use
Dove intense repair shampoo and hair mask
And streax leave in conditioner.
I use heat on my hair once a week if I’m going out, else I let my hair air dry.
These photos are taken an hour after my hair have air dried.

Why do so many hairstylists refuse to cut hair in its natural texture now?
I have waist-length slightly wavy/frizzy hair and I never blowdry or straighten it. Why do so many hairstylists refuse to cut hair in its natural texture now?
Every salon wants to smooth it first because otherwise the “cut won’t show.” But I wear it natural all the time, shouldn’t the cut be made for that?
What haircare products, supplements or tests made the BIGGEST difference for your hair? Let's discuss 🤪
May it b texture, balding or hair growth. Let’s discuss and suggest eachother to help grow the community. Additionally, I'd suggest (mainly for hair growth, texture): getting these tests done such as: Ferritin, Iron Serum, TSH etc.
However, that being stated, make sure to get it checked by a dermat (in worst cases). The tests mentioned above made a huge impact on my hair and are common for most of the ppl as well! Make sure to do your own research tho.
Sending love x
Is this hair brush good?
I have 2b-2c high porosity hair and oily scalp. AndI also sweat a lot. Will this Philils brush work on my hair? And keep my hair blow dried atleast for the day? I have already tried the philips comb type brush but my hair doesn't last with this. Will the above one work?if not which one I can buy apart from these given i don't like pin straight hair.
