My hair has been ruined ever since I moved to Bangalore. It literally feels like a broom now 😭..

Hi guyssss, please help me out with your experiences and suggestions please

Ever since I moved to Bangalore, my hair has gone from soft and smooth to hard, dry, and extremely frizzy. Even after washing it, it feels okay for barely 30 minutes before turning into a literal broom 😭
I never had this problem before moving here, so I’m starting to suspect the water might be the reason.

Has anyone else experienced this after moving to Bangalore? What actually worked for you? Any shampoo, conditioner, serum, or shower filter recommendations that made a noticeable difference?
Please suggest products available in India that are genuinely worth the money. I just want my old soft hair back. I’m tired of looking like I lost a fight with a broom every single day 😭🙏

Rapido ride turned into REAL-LIFE GTA Vice City 😭… Captain hit a car, drove away with me still on the bike, and we got CHASED through Bangalore

Guys… I genuinely had one of the scariest experiences of my life today in Bangalore. I booked a normal Rapido bike ride, and when we reached a red signal, all the vehicles were stopped. The captain wasn’t properly concentrating on the road and directly hit a car that was standing at the signal. The bike almost fell over and a lot of its weight came onto my left ankle, which started hurting badly. The car owner came out and asked the captain to just move to the side and talk about the accident. They were speaking in Kannada, so I couldn’t understand everything, but the car owner wasn’t doing anything crazy… he was simply asking him to stop and discuss what happened.

The captain waited there for maybe 1–2 minutes. The signal was still red. And then suddenly… he started the bike and tried to drive away with me still sitting on it. 😭 The car owner then started following us. I immediately started shouting “STOP! STOP! STOP!” and kept asking the captain to stop for around 1–1.5 km, but he completely ignored me. He kept taking smaller and smaller roads while the car was following us. The car came dangerously close multiple times, and at one point I genuinely thought it was going to hit my leg. I was already injured, sitting behind this guy, shouting at him to stop, while a car was chasing us… this was literally GTA Vice City in real life 💀😭 except there was no respawn button. Eventually, he took me into a very small street and didn’t even properly stop the bike before telling me to get down. He pulled my helmet from my head and left. He didn’t properly check whether I was injured or even ask if I was okay… he just left me there. I called Rapido Customer Care immediately and asked for his number because I wanted to lodge a police complaint, but they didn’t provide it and instead told me to go to the hospital or take another Rapido ride. Later in the evening, I was told the case had been escalated to their P0 / Priority Zero team, but even after 4–5 hours, nobody has contacted me. I have screenshots of the ride and ride-ending notification, along with photos of the car damage. This wasn’t just an accident… the part where he tried to run away with me still on the bike, despite me repeatedly asking him to stop, was absolutely terrifying. I genuinely thought I could get seriously hurt. What would you guys do next in this situation?

Looking for people to team up for flat hunting around Palace Road, Bangalore

Hey everyone! I’m looking for 1–2 people who are also searching for a flat around Palace Road and nearby areas.
We can explore areas like Vasanth Nagar, Malleshwaram, Sadashivanagar, Sheshadripuram, Rajajinagar, Seshadripuram, Shivajinagar, Yeshwanthpur, Hebbal, Cooke Town, Frazer Town, and surrounding areas, depending on commute and rent.
We can either:
● Look for a 2BHK and share it, or
● Team up and search for a suitable flat together based on our budget and requirements.
If you’re also looking for a place in or around these areas, DM me. We can coordinate and make the flat hunt easier .

👋 Welcome to r/ProdWarStories

Hey everyone.

I created this community because I got tired of reading polished success stories. The posts I actually learn from are the ones where something went wrong and someone explains what happened.

Maybe it was a deployment that took production down.

Maybe it was a database query that looked harmless.

Maybe it was a bug that kept everyone awake until 4 AM.

Those stories are far more valuable than another "Top 10 Spring Boot Tips" article.

The goal here is simple: share real engineering experiences, ask questions, and learn from each other's mistakes. It doesn't matter if you're a student, a junior developer, or you've been doing this for 20 years. If you've solved an interesting problem or learned something the hard way, someone else will benefit from it.

A few things:

* Don't post anything confidential from your company.
* Be respectful. Nobody writes perfect code.
* Explain the context, what went wrong, how you figured it out, and what you'd do differently now.

I'll be posting regularly to get things started, but I'd love for this to become a place where people share the stories they normally only tell their teammates after a long day.

If you're here early, thanks for joining. Hopefully we can build something genuinely useful together.

Any tips to get interview scheduled at Qualcomm, quite applying from soo long not able to get any call, optimising resume before applying as well

Been trying to get an interview at Qualcomm for quite a long time. Applied to multiple roles, tailored and optimized my resume before every application, but still not getting any calls.

I have around 2 years experience in software development

Would really appreciate any tips from people who cracked Qualcomm interviews or got recruiter reach outs. Is referral the only way in right now, or am I missing something in the process?
