Update ✨

I met the momma cat and her 3 kittens today. They seem happy and playful. There were also no dogs around today, and not also at night. I have taken their photos and put them up for adoption too. Any advice would be helpful !!

My Chocolate Labrador Lashley was Abandoned without my knowledge. I'm Still Looking for Him.

This post is a part of my final attempt to find my chocolate labrador lashley who was abandoned 5 years ago by my father. I will first post a short introduction before explaining lashley's story in detail.

About Lashley:

Chocolate Labrador Retriever

Nicknames: Boochie, Dachaley, Laboli

Distinctive white patch on his chest also known as bolo marks

Age when he was abandoned - 3 1/2 years old

Current age - 8 to 9 years old

Last known area: Domlur, Bengaluru (near Jogupalya, Indiranagar & Ulsoor)

If anyone living in Bangalore recognizes him, knows someone who might have adopted him, or have any information at all—even if it seems insignificant—please leave a comment or contact me through WhatsApp/call +91 8660826795

Detailed explanation of what actually happened & why he was abandoned

Back in 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, my family was going through a very difficult time financially and personally. Also during this time my father was suffering from severe chronic depression and other mental issues. After some time we had just moved to a new house, so my dad left Lashley to stay at my grandmother's house and claimed he would bring him to our new house. My father told me he would bring him to our new home once everything settled down. But few months passed by and this did not happen. During that time I used to visit him during the weekends. Some of the pics & videos i have posted here are during that time

So one day without my knowledge, according to my grandmother's account he claimed to take lashley for a walk and when he had returned lashley wasn't there with him. When he was asked about it he told her he had sold it or given it to someone but did not mention the specifics like to whom. When he came home he did not tell us about this. A few days later, my father took his own life at my grandmother's house. It was only then that we found out. During that time, our family was consumed by the shock, grief , funeral, legal matters, and everything that followed after my father's death so our thoughts were consumed by this and finding lashley wasnt at the forefront of our minds I also did not want to disturb my mother and other family members by bringing this up.

After some time we decided to search for lashley but had no idea where he went or with whom he was. We visited some well known breeders and rescue organisations but couldn't find him. Also found out that my father had also given away lashley's vaccination certificates & other things like prescriptions from the vets. So i had lost hope and finally decided that it was almost impossible to ever see him again. I loved him so much and wanted to be with him till his final years this was what made it so bad. I couldn't even see him to wish him a final goodbye before he left me. He was an extremely expressive and affectionate lab who always loved to be around me. I can't imagine how panicked and lost he must have felt after he was given away. He loved me like no other dog ever did. So I just suppressed those memories and went on with my life. But it just didn't work. For the past few months I have been feeling intense regret that I didn't do enough to find him, that I had in a way betrayed him. I kept dreaming about him regularly - both positive and disturbing dreams. So i finally decided I need to make a final and serious attempt to find him before he leaves this world. I want to be with him through his final years.

My search efforts will be both offline and online - I will visit every rescue organisation, veterinary clinics , breeders, pet boarding schools and kennels in my city. I will also be creating pages on every social media platform where I will be documenting and updating my search efforts. Even if the search fails i atleast get to preserve lashley's memories and get to tell his story to many. Hope this post wasn't too long. Thank you for reading

Urgent appeal for adoption

Hi everyone! This baby is approx 4 months now and her vaccinations are done, she is been regularly dewormed.

So the story with her is that one of my friends wanted a cat and then adopted her but then he had some issue with his family due to which he could not keep her. Since she was very small at the time and I felt bad I offered to keep her with me till his issues at home got sorted. Three months in he completely ghosted and stopped receiving my calls and texts now.I had kept her because he kept visiting and promised that he would sort it out. I also got her vaccinated. Now I have to leave bangalore for my job and I have no idea what to do. I want to find her a nice caring home. Please help me with that.I would appreciate everybody’s suggestions as well as I have to leave soon.

Adoption Appeal

This beautiful girl is around 1.5 years old and is looking for a safe, loving indoor home.

She has been a community cat and has always been extremely sweet, approachable, affectionate, and comfortable around people. She genuinely enjoys human company and is a loving girl who deserves a home of her own.

She was recently spayed and is currently in her post-recovery phase. She is also fully vaccinated.

Unfortunately, everyone in our society have problem with us feeding her, they have complained multiple times and now even landlord have asked us to not feed her or even keep her at our place, so we are looking for a responsible adopter who can give her the stability and care she needs.

As she has lived outdoors, she will need some time and patience to adjust to an indoor environment. Therefore, preference will be given to someone who has previous experience with cats and understands that settling into a new home can take time.

The usual adoption checks will be followed, including:
- Netted/safe balcony and windows
- Suitable and safe home environment
- Commitment to keeping her indoors
- Responsible, lifelong care
- Willingness to give her time and patience during the adjustment period

Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore
Adoption is strictly for people based in Bangalore.

If you genuinely feel you can provide this sweet girl with a safe, loving and permanent home, please get in touch with us on 9911738494.

Please share this appeal with people in Bangalore who may be maybe looking to adopt.

Adoption appeal: 3.5-year-old female cat in Andheri East, Mumbai

Posting on behalf of a friend who has to urgently leave Mumbai and move back to Kolkata due to a personal emergency. She is unable to take her cat with her, so we are trying to find her a loving and responsible permanent home within 2 months.

She is:
3.5 years old
Female and neutered
Litter trained
Well behaved
Originally a street cat who was taken in and raised at home
Used to spending some time outdoors and returning home. Shes comfortable indoors as well.
Very affectionate. She has a habit of sitting on your chest when you’re sad
Comes with her cat bed and litter box

She has been part of a home for years, so we would really like to find someone who can give her a safe, caring and permanent home.
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Please DM me if you are genuinely interested in adopting her, or if you know someone who might be. Shares would also be greatly appreciated.

The Stray kitten in my area needs immediate hospitalisation (uncontrollable diarrhoea) (update)

Original post:

He’s doing better than yesterday but I can’t see him since he’s in isolation but he’s doing better than before. With how he was when we hospitalised him, I’m so so grateful that he’s still alive and I can’t wait to bring him home. I’ve decided to adopt him since I cannot bear the thought of losing him or putting him out on the streets. I already have 3 cats but I’ll still take him in. Feeding all 4 is going to be a major issue since I have 2 boys and I feed my cats royal canin (yeah I’m a crazy cat lady). By the end of the month I barely have anything left but if I’ve taken them in, I’ll feed them the ducking best. I’m just waiting for him to come home.

To all the people who donated, goddamnit you people made me sob, in the hospital. I was scared out of my mind because I didn’t know if I could save him. I had already spent 20k on the vet visits and IV fluids and everything. You people are absolutely amazing and I cannot thank you enough. If you believe in god, just believe that this little act of service will save you for the rest of your life and my prayers will always include all of you. Thank you so much from me and my little Alexander whose heart you helped to keep beating. With every breath you take, your life will only get better and better.

The unfortunate thing is, I still need to pay 11k and I have absolutely nothing in my account right now. I have until evening and damn the Vetic people harass you death. This is the last time I’m here and once I get more money from my earnings, I’m buying insurance for all my cats, including the strays. If you kind and beautiful people can donate that’ll be immensely helpful. I love you all and thank you so much.

He’s currently in isolation so I cannot take more pictures but I’ll do it as soon as I can.

P.s. I’ll keep posting updates and I’m going to make a huge post when he comes back home.

Why sleeping with eyes open?

Is she vigilante? Is she not in deep sleep?

Also why is her mid stomach area bulging? Does she have parasites in stomach?

This is a stray that comes to my flat frequently. Not a pet cat.
