I’m 20F from India and want to start investing, but I’m pretty clueless right now 😭

I have a regular income, no savings yet and want to build a cozy side income, not chase crazy returns rn..

I’ve heard people recommend index funds, mutual funds, SIPs, stocks, PPF, FDs, etc., and now I’m more confused than when I started.

Should I start with something simple like an index fund SIP? How much of my income should I ideally invest vs keep as emergency savings?

For those who started investing in their early 20s, what do you wish you knew sooner?

I've been using WhatsApp for convenience purposes but I just found out that card prices are lesser???

Do the savings add up at the month end?
