I’d like to be sure, is the boho hair deep wave? Could someone please confirm? I’d really appreciate it.
Got braids done for the first time today with short hair. They’ve been hurting a lot and I was wondering if they were too tight and if I should take them out. Want to make sure they doesn’t mess up my hair/hairline.
Ngl I did make a post about how I finally got braids for the first time in my life (in a diff sub) bc I was super insecure and I was getting some good comments, but I was lowkey getting cooked horribly and deleted the post💀. I had a family member do them and I never had braids before so yeah. Earlier when she finished them she said they MIGHT be crooked, maybe I’ll ask her to fix it.
Those “flyaways (as someone described them)” are there because I was gonna get a lineup but idk comments were making it seem like it’s not supposed to be like this if I’m getting a lineup. I really don’t know.
Im wondering if they look OKAY or if they’re HORRID and if I should get them redone. And slide me any more advice u think I should hear.
Thank u!
If it matters to anyone I’m a guy
Also,
The filter and those random pictures are questionable but I don’t have answers.
Edit: thanks for all the advice. They’re gonna get redone and I’m going to make sure my hair is 100% washed beforehand! Yes I will be getting a lineup NOT a front taper.
Got a new braids design today.
How do they look?
I’m looking to get my hair braided for the first time but I’m v bad at cornrowing so I’d like to go to a salon (and idk if it would be worth my money if it lasted less than 2 weeks). Can anyone who’s had large cornrows like this share their experience?
Hi! I’ve had boho braids a few times and yes I know they’re a painnn 😩 my braided uses the expressions pre stretched braiding hair so I believe it’s synthetic.
I think im getting better at maintaining it. At night I spray it with water and finger detangle before sectioning it into 2 big twists. A few times I’ve added some leave in conditioner (the Camille rode guava slip spray one) but I don’t want to add too much because it makes the braids a little sticky?
I was wondering what leave-in I should be using. I have a few different Camille rose ones. Also I’ve added oil throughout my scalp and massaged it in to help with the itchiness and the white flakes. But I saw someone on here say not to use too much oil.
What dry shampoos or regular shampooing method are y’all using to help with dirty/itchy scalp? And what product on the actual hair at night to detangle? Feel free to explain it to me like I’m 5 😭
Its almost summer and i wanna wear a protective style maybe box braids can you guys give me some ideas
Personally for me it was burgundy braids. I don’t know if it’s because of the colour or something else 🤔 lmk in the comments about yall! 😊
hi all! im really conflicted rn, ive been wanting to get boxbraids for about 6 years now but im scared that they wont suit me or im gonna be called out for it. during lockdown i had an appointment with a lady to get it done, so if i didnt like it no one would see anyways, but she ended up having to cancel and i havent had the courage to go again 🥲 ive included some pictures of my hair (sorry if they're not the best) i believe my hair type is 3b/3c but im not too sure so i just wanted to know what type of braids could suit my hair type best.
I had another hairstyle in but I hated it so it’s not included
