Ignore the hair at the back it’s not ready yet to be braided! I’m very happy with this result
Hi guys, yk it’s back to school season and I found a new style that I really wanna get but I’m afraid my braider won’t know how to do it. I want to know how these scene box braids are done on how you get it to look like this (so I can explain to my braider)
I plan on trying a wig for the first time after I’m done with my current braid style. But this is me with my natural hair out. Would cornrows be a good option to have my hair in for a wig? I’m new to all this so any tips would be helpful. I’m typically just a person that puts their hair in braids…. It’s too hot in Texas to have all this hair out.
Inspired by pinterest. Braided them myself. Hope the parts are a little crispier.
I’ve been wanting to try this specific style of boho for forever now, and I’m not sure which kind to purchase, and recommendations?! And it can be human or synthetic I have no preference!
Je commence à me lasser de mon style actuel et j’ai envie de changer un peu. Je ne sais pas trop vers quel style partir, donc je viens chercher vos avis.
I’m looking for chicago braider suggestions. I really need to get my hair done but I’m having the hardest time actually finding someone. I normally go to Emmahs on Clark st. but I never leave happy. I just want small box braids with small parts all around so it looks full and waist length, actually waist length not 2 strands that touch my waist while the rest just hang out. Adding a picture for size reference. Would appreciate any and all suggestions.Small Box Braids
I braid this 5yr olds hair every now and then when she wants it doing and usually in a style she or her mum asks for. I don't have a lot of knowledge or experience but I do absolutely love doing it and seeing her big smile afterwards.
She's about to have surgery, which will take approximately 12 hours and then months of recovery afterwards. I'll be braiding her hair next week 2 days prior and obviously it needs to last as best as possible.
Is there an ideal style that will work best for hospital for a young child? We are thinking similar to pic 2, but tighter and smaller braids. I also need to purchase gel as I rarely use it (because its too slippery) and any aftercare products so any recommendations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
(Mum is my best friend and is happy for me to post this)
16f, I just got my braids done naturally to save some money but they look boneless, stupid dead ends are all crinkled up, she did the braids super thin too. How do I fix myself? Should I get a wig?
Schools in 10 days and I don't even wanna show my face right now : ( I hate it so bad

The hair in the picture is not stretched out and I currently have braids so it’s lengthy enough to be braided
does anyone know where i can get purple french curls from? 😣 i’ve been looking everywhere and i can’t find the colour that i want. the picture is exactly what im looking for.
I made a post about braid shedding quite a few months back, however this time round I felt like I was gonna go bald, my hair is pretty much straight and usually I detangle and condition my hair every 3 days, the shedding is like maybe 3-5% of that pile on the photo
I had my braids done for about a week and a half. My braids were maintained pretty good, this time when taking them out I combed out my hair dry from the ends slowly making my way to the root, when I did it wet the first time it matted, this time it felt alright tbh, came out easily, however I felt like I shed WAY more then the first time. These braids were probably a little more tighter but nothing too extreme.
Is this normal for just that short time frame?
