That was my gift to myself. If I can make it no contact for at least a year I will buy myself my first name brand purse.

Yesterday I took myself to Micheal Korse! I never bought myself anything but like thrift purse or target. But this purse is special to me.

My older sister has to get me name brand stuff but it was most of the time used as a way to guilt trip me if I said no to her. My ex always got my used gift. Or gift we both could use. He never got me nice stuff unless I was close to leaving him.

But this purse is a symbol of how strong I am. How durable I am and that I carry to confidence of a brand with class. I feel so proud because this was something I bought with my own money and no one can guilt trip me or shame me…. I still have a very very long way to go with confidence but this is a gift to me :)

Kind of sad because I had my outfit planned but it’s been cold and rainy almost everyday and sort of not sure if it’s gonna be warm to wear the dress I had planned… is it just best to wear a sweatshirt?

I decided to stay a night in new York since it’s my first time! I’m making the most of my weekend!
