The broccoli cheddar soup is usually creamy. Today it's just cheese water.

I poured half into another bowl and was like oof...

3 shifts ago, I accidentally spilled ~1L of agave lemonade on myself trying to fill the bubbler.

God bless the bagel toaster for keeping me warm and dry.

Corporate position at panera

Hey Ive just become a certified MIC at Panera Bread and very interested in a corporate position, I was wondering what I'd need to do to get ahead and land a corporate spot in maybe the field operations or support as quickly and comprehensively as possible. I'd also love any tips from any fellow management team members about how to run the best store possible, I'm very competitive and want to show my higher ups I'm an asset to the company. Quite serious about making a positive lasting impression! Thank you!

Tulip/flip flop/mitten/heart cookie

Do any Panera employees know the recipe to the tulip cookie BEFORE the transition from baked to frozen? I used to loooove this cookie sm but then last year my friend who works at Panera said they switched to frozen food only. So one day I went to go get my beloved cookie and it tasted so different I was heartbroken. The base is similar I think but the icing is so waxy and thick. So if anyone who works there/used to work there knows how they were made before I would greatly appreciate it so I can make it at home.

It's finally our time

Our cafe was the last in the area to have bakers and fresh dough. Well, now we got all frozen bread too. It's honestly so upsetting and I'm angry on behalf of the bakers who got stiffed by corporate for this awful business decision. Private equity strikes again :(

Cat distribution during shift??

Right before I was supposed to leave today at 3pm
(shift supervisor), a customer came in asking if anyone was driving a Honda. Our gm drives a Honda so I went to her thinking she must’ve hit it in the parking lot, but she tells me that she had heard a screeching noise coming from it. I’m confused and it’s very slow business so she brings me out to his car to show me and I hear it too… I get on my back and look under his car lo and behold, inside the bumper of his car is a little orange kitten! No one knows where he came from, but he must’ve been in there a long time given gm started at 4am today. He was so cute and sweet that I just had to take him home with me. Just thought I’d share, he’s not injured and I got him some smoked chicken before I left! Left early with some new cargo 😁

Chipotle Aioli

Hello fellow Panera patrons ,
Anyone know where we can buy their aioli ? Or even how’s it’s made ? Krafts brand has a similar one but it’s slightly off.

EOD stickers

I know many employees have gotten used to this by now after months. This is not a complaint, but a general curiosity. Why were they removed? Do they expect product that is still good to be thrown away? I know that one of managers biggest hurdles is food cost. How is this change not warned about or how to follow through? I am thoroughly confused?

Is this normal in the iced tea?

I know "floaties" are typical for iced tea, but this feels like an excessive and kinda gross-looking amount that has accumulated at the bottom of my cup. Wondering if anyone knows if this is normal or not.

What can I do?

Update:

Thank you for those that have commented, I will be using my own cup from now on or saving the one coffee cup for a couple of days. I really feel as he is doing it to be a jerk but I’m not sure why. I am respectful, polite and I never leave a mess if anything I clean up when I see something spilled by the coffee station.
