I’m moving in about a month and plan to move my fish (and tank) as late as possible but I’m still figuring out how to do it. it’s about a 2 hour drive

One thought I had was I have a 10 gallon that’s empty and I’m thinking of bringing that to the new place, cycling it, and when I move put my fish in there while I set up the actual tank?

I plan to transfer my fish in a 2 gallon closed bucket w/ some sort of bubbler or air stone or something for the drive. Then when I get to the new place put the fish in the cycled 10gallon while I set up the tank stand and the actual tank. Thinking this will allow me to not rush and give my fish sometime to settle and not have to be in a bucket for longer than necessary.

Curious if this is even needed though? I expect it to take me an hour to reset up the tank and stand, maybe longer. I’d also like to let it run, fish less, for about 24 hours just to make sure everything is still working.

I’m a new fish owner and this is my first time moving with a tank and I’m super nervous. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

Yo how bad is it that all day all I think about is how excited I am to get home and to get high? My friends are v anti-weed so they tend to blow my habit out of proportion but I definitely smoke (or eat an edible) at least 5 days a week and they always act like I’m a crazy drug addict 😭 am I truly going that hard with it? To me it’s the equivalent of having a beer or 2 at the end of the day. I smoke MAYBE half a pre-roll or eat/drink 5 - 10 mg.

I’m still productive throughout the day (even productive at night while high), I don’t drive under the influence, and am as safe as I can be. I just feel guilty and think hmm maybe I shouldn’t be smoking this much.

I know this sub will be a bit biased with the answer but I’m sure y’all have dealt with something similar and just curious what you did/do about it.

Howdy! I’m moving to Atlanta, GA from Kennesaw soon and obviously want to keep using my A-List. I’ve never been to an AMC in Atlanta so curious what the best one is or any I should avoid? I’ll miss my Barrett Commons but alas, I’m not driving an hour to use my A-List.

I have severe asthma so definitely shouldn’t be smoking but I love the high it gives me.

Smoking gets me high within 5-15 minutes, and reaches its peak quickly and sits me there for hours on super slow downfall. I love it. I also love how since it hits so fast it’s easier to know when I need more.

I also regularly partake in eating & drinking edibles, but sometimes I hate sitting around for 45 minutes + waiting for something to happen, and potentially taking more too early or too late.

Is there an in between? Or any known fast acting edible?

Currently live in NW Georgia and planning to move more east. I’ve got a couple buddies I’m moving in with and one really wants us to live in Lilburn for his job. We’ve found some nice places but curious how is it there?

I’ve talked to a friend in Stone Mountain and he’s told me to steer clear, it’s a dangerous area, and we will be in danger, but everything I’m seeing makes it seem like a fine area, if not just a little rundown.

Just hit 100 movies seen this year! Didn’t know it was coming up so it ended up being “Harold and Kumar: Go to White Castle” 😭 I wish it was something more momentous and special but oh whale. It was still a fantastic movie and I had a blast! I guess it could’ve been worse.

Do you save your 100th (and other milestone) movie for something special or just accidentally hit it?

Another problem with reserved seating is maybe the seat you reserved sucks but you got there early enough that if without reserved seating you could’ve changed to a better seat.

ALSO with reserved seating you can have someone “book” a bunch of seats online and just sit on the screen without actually purchasing since it holds your seat for 7+ minutes.

BTD6 is on sale for on steam for $2.49 right now and I’m debating if I should purchase it.

I LOVED Bloons Tower Defense 3 as a kid and still regularly play it today. How does BTD6 compare to BTD3? Is it a worth and great sequel? Or should I stick to playing my nearly 20 year old game?

I’ve never played any other BTD game except 3 so I can’t compare it to 4 or 5. How is the learning curve? That’s the main reason I haven’t purchased yet, it seems waaaaay more chaotic than the 3rd.

This will be my first Fan Screening and not sure what to expect. Is it just an early screening of the movie? Are there freebies? How early should I get there? I was planning to arrive around 6:45/7 but should I arrive earlier?

I’m in Georgia so this won’t be one of those special NY or LA events lol

Besides absolutely LOVING a film, do you have other reasons you rewatch a movie?

I tend to rewatch movies I disliked but everyone else loves. I try rewatching these in hopes I missed something and to understand why others love it but I don’t. Sometimes it has changed my opinion but not always.

I would LOVE to see Moonlight this week but the only showtime is 4pm?? I work a 9-5 and my weekend is already booked at that time. Why do they schedule these middle of the day?

Luckily I was able to see Call Me By Your Name & Everything Everywhere All At Once, but bummed I had to miss some other fan faves due to this same issue :( what’s the point of doing a “fan fave” when most fans are at work during that time

I wish we found out definitely if Vincent Adultman was a real adult or really 3 kids in a trenchcoat. Instead it’s left up to the audience’s interpretation (gearing more towards him being 3 kids but it’d be hilarious if it was confirmed he was a real adult). Which is great, but I neeeeeeeeeeeed to know.

I did a solo run yesterday with the black jack cheat where you play a hand or two, memorize the outcomes, then exit and go back to the game. It was so boring. Super successful though and made bank quickly!!!! But dear god was I bored out of my mind.

How often do y’all cheat? IMO this game is much better played straight, especially when it’s a bunch of your friends running around being idiots

Hello! My lease ends tomorrow and my roommate hasn’t packed AT ALL. I’ve told them multiple times and they’ve honestly just been a shitty roommate anyways.

Anywho, would it be legal for me to give them a 5pm deadline for tomorrow and if it’s not met my friends and I remove their stuff and dump it outside? We won’t destroy anything but I want my security deposit back and don’t want this lowlife ruining my credit. All of my stuff is out and 90% of the apartment is clean except for their room.

If it helps their name isn’t even on the lease. It’s an apartment owned by a company not an independent landlord or a house. Not sure if this belongs here or another subreddit, I apologize if this is wrong.

My friends and I have like 9 hours in this game and have not been able to make it past floor 2! How are some of you beating the game in 2 hours??? are we just stupid or is there a trick?? Are some of you playing this game sober or like..... what is going on.
