Please tell me this is a palmetto bug….

Please tell me this is a palmetto bug….

I live in an apartment in Georgia, USA. These little buggers just started popping up a few weeks ago once the weather got warm so I’m hoping/thinking it’s a palmetto bug. Please tell me this isn’t a German roach

I sprayed him with alcohol and he died immediately it was glorious, but I can’t deal with German roaches and will cry if he is one

When to start wearing a cowboy hat?

I really want a cowboy hat but feel like I need to earn it, however I don’t quite know what it means to earn it. I’m hoping one day I’ll just feel worthy of one?

I see a rule here is no gatekeeping BUT if you were to gatekeep a cowboy hat what would your rules be? I genuinely don’t know why I don’t feel worthy of one yet, but I feel it would be disrespectful for me to purchase one at this time in my life.

How did you decide to get a cowboy hat and be a cowboy hat wearer? Did you just come across a hat one day and it just spoke to you and BAM now you’re a cowboy hat wearer? (This is kind of what I’m hoping will happen to me)

Update: thank you everyone for your responses!!!! I’ve been wanting a cowboy hat for YEARS and finally started to feel “ready” for it. Y’all really helped in showing me it’s just a hat, wear it and rock it!

Update 2: I got one! Thanks y’all

How did MK beat CTR???

I recently entered a MKW tournament, did horribly, but it got me back into racing games! After a day of playing MKW I remembered CTR exists on the switch and booted it up after a long hiatus.

Holy cow the difference in these games are night and day. CTR is way more fun, more challenging, more skill based, has more beautiful & complex tracks, and just an all around MUCH better game. How on earth did “Mario Kart” beat out “Crash Team Racing” as the ultimate/universal kart racer?

One second in this subreddit you learn about the nitrogen cycle, but why isn’t it more common knowledge outside of the community? Is it just people don’t have or care about fish?

I will say when I first started I thought temp was the MOST important thing until I got here.

TIL if you miss a showing it still counts towards your 4 a week. I’m a bit bummed but it makes sense. The missing the show was 10000% my fault. I knew I had tickets and wasn’t going to make it, I completely forgot to cancel until AFTER show time. I do feel dumb for not realizing it would still count as a showing though xD

Oh whale, the more you know! I know you can get kicked from AList for missing too many shows but this has been my first so I think I’m good so far right? Will I get a warning from AMC if I miss more? I don’t plan on it obviously lmao but I’m super nervous as I LOVE AList, I just goofed and overbooked myself on Saturday.

I have a ton of classic Disney movies in my collection but I’m realizing they’ve been in my collections for 3+ years and I’ve never once watched any. They’re all in great condition and fantastic movies, just not something I’ve ever wanted to grab off the shelf.

How do you decide it’s time to remove something in your collection? Or do you keep adding on forever and ever lol

I normally arrive around 10-15 minutes after the stated showtime. But I just found out there’s stuff before the trailers??? What time is everybody else showing up?!
