Anyone else collect notoriously bad movies?

Anyone else collect notoriously bad movies?

I grew up on Mystery Science Theater 3000 so naturally I seek out cheesy movies. Anyone else intentionally buy notoriously bad movies?

What's your favorite DVD in your collection?

Yes, I know for some of you it's like picking a favorite child, but I'm curious.

Mine would have be Raging Bull Collector's Edition or the Taxi Driver Collector's Edition.

Great Deal on Craigslist! $175 is a steal….

I wonder if he would throw in the toenail clippings on the rug with these awesome hard to find titles! 🤣

Lucked out on my lunch break thrift stop today. I've been wanting to add these to my collection. $15 total and the discs are mint.

I was told not to buy this 10 years ago

True story. About 10 years ago I saw this DVD for sale at Walmart, and the cashier told me I would regret purchasing it. She was rambling on about how it was an insult to the original. I still enjoy watching it years later, especially with the Broken Lizard group directing and acting in it. Will never forget the interaction every time I pop this in the DVD Player 😂

HTF titles? Where to find other than ebay

So I've been collecting since 2000, but I had kind of a hiatus where I did go on a streaming adventure and didn't really add much to my collection. Cut to now I'm hardcore getting back into adding to me collection and I'm finding some movies that I just assumed would be easy to find on account of them being well known and pretty recent are not available on Amazon at all and then they're over $40 just for a screener on ebay.

Are there any other resources to find movies like this? I recently learned that MGM Amazon studios and Netflix makes it to where getting a DVD or BR is basically impossible.

I did just recently find a copy of Saltburn that didn't break the bank too too much, but I just (finally) watched Citizen Kane today (in a theatre with an introduction by Leonard Maltin btw) and the last film by David Fincher I'm missing happens to be Mank. I don't want to sign up for the money grubbing whores that are Netflix so I just figured I'd pop on ebay right quick and grab an $8 base model copy, but nooooo.... not a single copy under $45 and they're ALL screeners.

This is extremely frustrating so at the very least I want to vent even if there is no solution. I do want to add though that I have a jailbroken blu ray player so other countries' editions aren't a problem as long as they're in the original language with no Hungarian subtitles or anything like that.

Anyone know what kind of DVD this is?

Was looking trough my collection to see what to watch today, I remember picking this up recently but never seen a DVD this color before. It doesn't say what type of DVD disc it is, does anyone know? Also I cant find much on this movie either.

A handful of Blockbuster DVDs. Are they worth anything?

I bought these six horror DVDs from a Blockbuster that was going out of business around 2012 or so. They had an everything must go sale, and this is what was left by the time I got there. They have the Blockbuster casing and labels on them. With Blockbusters being a thing of the past, I was wondering if these movies have any value or if they’re worth the same as they would normally be secondhand.
