I’ve been smoking weed and tobacco mixed for around 3-4 years pretty heavy, I’m thinking of quitting soon because I can’t tell if that’s too much, how long have you guys smoked and is anyone thinking of quitting anytime soon? :)

Do I got this bad boy for pretty cheap at some corner shop, love it, but I am somewhat confused uhh. The guy who sold it said the bottom compartment was for catching kief, which yes, it does seem to be....except the mesh is not mesh-like enough to let the kief through, it just gets stuck behind the mesh screen and I just scrape it out with the rest of my weed. So question, should I just pop the mesh out and use that compartment to catch the bud I grind? Also while I have your attention, cleaning tops are appreciated but but the usual. How do I make sure I've got every piece of weed off the Grindr before I clean it? I do not wanna waste even one molecule.
EDIT: i'm not whining that i'm getting too little kief! i've barely had this grinder for 20 days and maybe used it 5 times, ofc there's not much kief. I was wondering if I should fuck around with it and turn the kief catcher into ground weed storage ffs!

I should probably clarify that my asthma is serious enough to have caused me to be admitted to the hospital multiple times before we got it under control, decades before I tried weed. I'm pretty much limited to edibles as my lungs simply cannot tolerate any smoke or vapor. I vaped for a while and even with "sipping" and using a nebulizer, it really messed me up.
