What if CTR had a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater GP track?
Crash Team Racing (PS1) Custom Track - Skater's Retreat by BoxicFunk

>Hey! It's been a little while since my last original track, but after several months of on-and-off work, I am proud to present Skater's Retreat! A chill skate park on the city coast.
This track is very open and gives creative freedom to the player on how they want to traverse it, with many different ramps, pools and even rails for you to use. Have fun and don't forget to do a kickflip (you can't)
Track mesh, textures, skybox & music by me, with some additional graffiti textures by Lockheart.
And thanks to Garma, Anfrost, Redhot, Infernal, Lockheart and Blounard for testing & feedback.

4 Months / 5 Developers
4 months ago, I posted that I had beaten all Velo times and was so proud of myself!! Wanted to post again to say that I have now beaten my first five developers! I am starting with the N. Sanity Beach section, and just playing others at random when I get frustrated. Overall, not committing too hard, just about 10 minutes every few days. I am seriously SO close to beating Crash Cove!!
In this order, I have taken down:
Mystery Caves
Roo's Tubes
Jungle Boogie
Inferno Island
Sewer Speedway

How did MK beat CTR???
I recently entered a MKW tournament, did horribly, but it got me back into racing games! After a day of playing MKW I remembered CTR exists on the switch and booted it up after a long hiatus.
Holy cow the difference in these games are night and day. CTR is way more fun, more challenging, more skill based, has more beautiful & complex tracks, and just an all around MUCH better game. How on earth did “Mario Kart” beat out “Crash Team Racing” as the ultimate/universal kart racer?

Oxide Times Help
Hi everyone, I have been making my way through through Crash Team Racing, and I think it‘s great but I can’t really find a way to beat the oxide times. it’s honestly giving me really bad anxiety but I really want the platinum. If anybody would be willing to help I’m willing to pay for the service. thank you

I have finished the first 6 developers time tracks of CNK!
Hot take: Deep Sea Driving was easy. All I had to do is turn on Skip cutscenes and memorize the fans and boom. Finish it in less than 20 attempts (yes I see that as a small amount of attempts). Almost there!

I have finished all the developers time on Crash team racing tracks! Only Nitro Kart and the bonus tracks are left!
I KNEW Oxide Station is gonna give me trouble and it did!!! this track is without doubt the hardest track to me so far. yes even harder than Turbo Track. I would rather play that one over Oxide Station! I don't think I will find a track harder than it.

OG Hardware
My PS4’s HDMI crapped the bed, but the PS1 never failed me. Thankful to still have the OG hardware. Gave me an excuse to get a decent HDMI converter for a modern HDTV.

This would’ve been a sub 01:57 if I’d taken that lap2 shortcut less wide - the moment my ghost got ahead of me on lap2.

Just finished 5 more tracks! And I can say Polar Pass is my favourite developer time!
Polar Pass was really fun to play! the other ones were ok except for Tiger temple. that one was kinda difficult lol
