My kids already love the game I grew up with.

My 4 year old twins have little to zero gaming experience and no iPad habit. But they have tried to learn to use the Dualsense and drive a bit on CTR. Today they took the controller out of my hands so I put them on a 7 lap Roos Tubes and they actually completed it wich surprised me.

So now i gave them one controller each and let them choose characters and cars and they both chose Tiny Arena.

They drove around, sometimes the wrong way, sometimes the right way.

Eventually they ended up finding each other by accident and stopped their cars when they bumped into each other and my daughter said: "This is fun! Let's paus here and go drink some yoghurt". And they both dropped the controllers and went to get some yoghurt together.

It hit me right in the feels.

State of HC after "the patch"

I haven't played in over a week and I'm finally about to play again. Can someone explain this "patch" like im 5?

All I've seen is posts about bugs and even heaps of mobs spawning under the map and one-shotting people on HC. Like what is this? Do i even dare to play without the fear of getting killed by some new glitch?

Is there anything new with this patch that I have to watch out for on HC?

Appreciate any info on this craziness, thanks.

EDIT: Thank you all for sharing, it seems like its not a bad idea to play something else for a week or two, as a dad gamer i don't have time to lose a character again just because of some patch fudgery. Ty all and stay safe!

Hunters Mark Question

I've ben thinking about the Ranged Attack Power being increased of all attackers. Would that increase the damage of the Lightning Breath on a Windserpent as pet since its a ranged attack?

Melee Hunter Questions

I recently started a melee hunter and i have a few questions:

If im dual-wielding at lvl 20, should I have one slow and one fast weapon like rogues? If yes, is it slow in mainhand? If no, should I have two slow or fast weapons?
Is Agility and Strength worth the same as melee hunter?

I know in ranged combat Agility for hunters give 2 AP and Strength gives 1 AP, but i heard that they both give just 1 AP in melee for hunters, anyone who knows whats up?

(Any general tips, tricks and ideas for melee hunter is also welcome, I'm a night elf if that makes any difference)

Dying with your "get out of jail free card"

Tell me of a death experience where you forgot to use or didn't have time to use your "get out of jail free card". By that i mean things like Target Dummy, Swiftness Potion, Magic Dust, Really Sticky Glue, Petri Flask etc.

My story:

My lvl 40 Hunter died in the camp where Metzen the reindeer is held captive. I was trying to rush the quest before the season was over, the mobs are lvl 45 but they were killed when I arrived so I ran in with my freshly bought mount and saved him. The second I completed the quest atleast 5 mobs spawn in at lvl 45 and curbstomped me so hard that my Feign Death resisted and I was so shocked that I forgot to use target dummy and my magic dust.

That was the first and only 20 minutes ive ridden a Orc wolf.

Horde in Teldrassil Part 2

An update on my SF Shaman in Teldrassil leveling journey.

After a few near death experiences, some new gear, night elfs trying to PvP bait me and getting the really long "Long Bo Staff", I have leveled from 1 to 8 in Teldrassil.

My lvl 1 spells are becoming more and more useless while my melee hits are starting to hit pretty hard. Now I'm starting to think about what talents I should take at lvl 10 that actually helps this character since i cannot train new abilitys.

My gear has also started to break and since i cannot repair i need to gather replacement gear. So every armor piece is going to break at some point, wich makes every gear piece I find feel amazing. I also got 2 random small bags to carry more gear!

This has so far been a fun and interesting experience.

I have recorded most of it, should I make a video of this journey?
