Is it ok to use a moisturizer before tretinion

So I’ve been consistently using tret.025 3 times a week for about a month and a half I’ve been using the sandwich method where I apply a moisturizer wait and then tret. However I’ve been seeing people say that using a moisturizer before makes it less effective. I tried this week to put it on bone dry skin and I ended up getting a lot of redness and my skin now stings when I put anything on it besides jojoba oil. My question is does putting a moisturizer on before tret make it less effective or work less? Would it be ok to use a moisturizer 1-2 hrs before then apply it? Should I also try to work up to eventually putting it on bone dry skin in the future if so how would I go about that?

Looking for a concealer, primer, and a setting powder

So I’m looking for a concealer that creases less I have pretty dry undereyes and my concealer always settles into my fine lines within a hour I know a creaseless concealer isn’t out there and it’s inevitable but maybe there’s one that creases less if that makes sense. I’m also looking for setting powder that doesn’t have a completely matte finish but a more natural/ satin finish for reference I’m really pale and a cool undertone with not an ounce of warmth to me so not a powder with a warm undertone ( a lot of powders do for some reason). I’m also looking for a primer I would say my skin is sensitive, dry/ combo and I usually go for a more natural finish to my makeup look. For years I was oily now I’m on BC and tret and also about to hit my mid 20s and now my skin type is completely different so any primer that works for more dry sensitive skin would probably work

[routine help] so I’ve noticed that I’ve been getting some dark spots I believe it’s caused by my acne scars I used to struggle with severe acne but I’m now on BC and don’t have nearly as many. I’m also currently on tret 3 times a week and use moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated. but around my cheeks especially I have these darker areas I also can’t tell if some of the spots are my freckles or something else? I was looking into the vinoperfect serum but any suggestions are helpful. I also am allergic to pdrn (fish allergy found that out the hard way) and have really sensitive skin cause of the tret. Side note is there anything I can do about my dark eyelids and undereyes as well?

Soooooo I recently posted a pic recently asking about my face shape ( I don’t feel like taking a diff pic so rinse and repeat💀💀) but does anyone have any suggestions of what style makeup I should give a shot?? I do really minimal stuff like concealer and sometimes blush but of anyone has any recommendations I’d appreciate it I know I’m 100% cool tone I don’t have any warmth to me at all if that’s helpful.

So I’ve been told pretty much all my life I have a square face( got bullied for it constantly)but this week I asked chat gbt and it said I have an oval face with a slight heart influence so now idk what shape I am. Edit you all are so nice like seriously 😭😭😭😭 if anyone also has any suggestions what makeup style yall think would suit me best id also appreciate that I usually tend to go with a soft look but any suggestions are appreciated
