Hi, my long term bf & I recently broke up (him with me) mostly due to a family thing. Ugh. We were supposed to see a big artist in a few months together, where I bought the tickets for us & we each paid for our own ticket. He really likes the artist. We each paid $120 for our seated tickets next to each other, but now the tickets are going for $600-700 each minimum. He keeps asking me to sell my ticket to him for a little over face value, like $200, but I don’t want to, even though I feel bad. Currently I have both tickets so we can sell both of them jointly as arranged, but I can tell he’s disappointed and wants to see it. WIBTAH? What should I do here? Thanks!!
Edit: I offered to transfer him his ticket and he wants either 2 or none. If ours sell, we will split the profit just to be nice even if I did the work getting them (plus he did give up a ticket to a different concert that was the weekend we broke up)
