Caveat: I am totally not an electrician nor am I familiar with the language around electrical work. I also plan to ask a licensed electrician before proceeding with this plan, but am starting here with multiple opinions! I did look this up in your subreddit, but the answers were quite technical and I need more of an “explain it like I’m eight“ response.

We just removed the janky old electric stove at our cottage. We have what I believe is the regulation 50 amp outlet for it. I plan to use induction burners and a convection oven instead and want to use this outlet with an adaptor for two or three appliances. I’d like to preserve this outlet in case I want to go back to a full sized range in future.

Is this a safe practice?
