Starting to plan a destination wedding and I am stressed

Hi! I am just recently engaged and starting to plan a destination wedding. AHHH. We live in the Midwest so ease of travel is a top priority for our guests. We are thinking Mexico, DR, or possibly Jamacia. We were hoping to stay around 25K for around 75 guests. But from what I am seeing maybe I am way under budget? We are planning for next Memorial Day Weekend 2027. I am not an over the top person about decor and have never been someone that has had wedding planned since I was a little girl. My main priorities is to be with the people that we love and to celebrate, dance, eat good food and have a good time. We do want to do an all inclusive mainly for ease for us and our guests. We do have teenage kids so we need something that is family friendly. I would also like to do a brunch wedding on that Sunday. All of our guests are aware and love that idea as well.

I am overwhelmed looking at resorts. Has anyone booked a destination wedding of this size and LOVED it? Did you use a destination wedding planner/company and if so, who? Did you add a lot of extras or stick with the packages? I am not concerned about decor as much as hair and makeup at the resort. Please give me any and all tips/advice! Please don't be mean and tell me a destination wedding is selfish. All of my family and friends are treating this as a vacation and are thrilled to come along!
