Is it difficult to work in Westchester or Putnam County as a Court Officer?

My first federal job was a Border Patrol Agent. However, I transferred to ICE during the surge to get home. However, my goal is to be an 1811. I was found ineligible for the HSI announcement at Grade 9.

I’ve been pursuing Postal Inspector and I have my initial VIE Friday.

Will I have to go to an academy?

It would be a significant pay cut for me, but I’m considering becoming a court officer because I currently have no work-life balance. My family recommended the court officer position because of its regular schedule. I plan to apply on April 1st and was hoping for some convincing😂
