Quick question: Best place to donate a massive amount of books?
Hi all, hoping to brainstorm a solution.
My partner and I run a local online estate sale site (EastBid.ca), and we are currently trying to clear out a house that has over 800 books. Books can be a really tough sell, and my connection at the public libraries said this volume is just too big for them to take all at once as a donation.
The family can't dedicate days to driving around splitting the loads, but I really don't want to see these end up in Robin Hood Bay.
Does anyone work at any local high schools, seniors' homes, or specific charities in the St. John's area that will take a massive bulk donation of books? Feel free to DM.
