Anyone having the same day as me cannot have the same day as me!

Yesterday I had a bad day! Let’s not get into that day just to say…
Having that day made me realise "Anyone having the same day as me cannot have the same day as me"

And this is not likely to be same for anyone! If two persons are having the exact same day, same struggle, same rush, same pressure and same judgement still cannot have the same day! Cause nobody is feeling the situation like I am, nobody has the perception of the experience like I have, nobody has the expectation of the situation like I have, nobody has the thought process like I have, nobody has the same trauma like I do so they would not grasp the same situation/ same sentence like I do.

Do not get me wrong, I am not saying I am superior cause I feel more, I am saying that nobody can have the same day even if they have the same day like you. It can be lighter for them or worse for them, can be many more different versions but cannot be the SAME as you!

Dresden Application Winter-26

I have applied for the Master’s program in the Computer Science track. Can anyone give me an idea of when I might hear back?

I know the portal mentions that all admission decisions will be released by mid-August, but I was wondering if it’s possible to receive a decision earlier, such as in mid-July.

If you applied for the Winter 2025/26 intake, when did you receive your admission decision?

What’s one life lesson you’ve learned from living in Dhaka?

I’m just bored waiting for my train, and this question popped into my head.

What’s the one thing I’ve learned from living in Dhaka? For me, it would be understanding Google Maps and knowing the streets. Being a girl, I’d say that’s one hell of a skill to have! :3

If anyone (rickshaw, CNG, Uber driver, or even a random person on the road) realises you don’t know the area, then in the best-case scenario, they’ll just charge you more!!

So I’ve developed the skill of not looking scared, even when I don’t know the roads. I stay calm, pretend I definitely know where I’m going, and confidently refer to nearby roads I recognize from Google Maps. It has always helped (at least in my head! :3)

I definitely wasn’t like this before. When I first came to Dhaka, I actually got lost around my own neighborhood once. But somehow, over time, I developed this skill.

What would be yours?

Germany Student Visa Related Query!

Hey everyone,
I think it is going to be a long post, bear with me if you have time! :")
I am in a somewhat unusual position and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done something similar.

I have a German university offer/admission letter and according to that letter, it is valid for both the Winter 2026 semester and Summer 2027. I have got my visa appointment for late July (applied in Feb 2024), and I will have my block account ready by July.

The complication is that I recently joined (a few months ago) a very good company in Bangladesh and before hiring me the specifically discussed my plans for higher studies and I have assured them I am not going anywhere for at least two years. Now, if I leave for the Winter 2026 semester, it would create a significant challenge for both my team and me. And if it wasn't Germany, this is a job I really wanna do in the future if I ever come back. Hence, leaving in bad faith is a big issue for me.

Now, my main concern is the visa, I was wondering if it would be acceptable to apply for or attend the visa interview with the intention of enrolling in Summer 2027? Has anyone done something similar and received their visa? Will it create any difficulties in my visa process? Any information would be helpful.

I am also keen on judgment. Is this a good decision to apply for Summer 2027 rather than Winter 2026, like in general, as policies and everything are changing everyday?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
