Whats up y'all. I'm very new to this community. I watched the movie apex and it has me curious. I'm a very outdoorsy guy and I own an old cedar canoe I bring out often. I have access to the Adirondacks every weekend in upstate Ny. I'm 6' 4" and about 270. Where do I start? Do I rent? Hire a guide? Do I need a bigger kayak? I genuinely wanna give this a try this summer. I appreciate any contributions. I'm open to meeting up with anyone who kayaks the Adirondacks.
