Handmade bone nut and nylon strings on a steel string guitar
I have no idea what exactly I'm doing.. but, i liked the mellow, softer sound of nylon while wanting a bone nut, one day i found a few clean bones in the forest (don't know what animal they belong to), and made a guitar nut with no previous knowledge, this nut is not glued nor the exact measurement as the groove, i tried to find anything about "hollowed guitar nuts" but apparently they don't exist appart from the one I've made, the nut is surprisingly good for something made with no real qualifications, would like to know any opinions and thoughts about it.
Second photo shows a very ROUGH representation of how it goes.
Ps: The nut is wider than a normal one, it does not bother my hand but i can see how it may bother some.
