Am I crazy for thinking Sheila is one of the least evil characters in Shameless?

I’m doing a rewatch and honestly, Sheila might be one of the few genuinely good-hearted people in the entire show.

Yeah, she’s weird, eccentric, and definitely has her issues, but compared to almost everyone else, she rarely acts out of malice. Most of the bad things she does come from being naive, lonely, or trying too hard to help people she cares about.

I actually found her one of the most lovable characters in the series. Her growth from being afraid to leave her house to becoming more independent was also one of my favorite storylines.

Am I overlooking something, or is Sheila really one of the least evil major characters in Shameless? Who do you think is the most genuinely good person on the show?

👀 Curious to hear everyone’s takes.
