Endoscopy with biopsy suspects celiacs decease even without biopsy results. What should I prioritize worrying about?
I had this procedure done yesterday and the results from the imaging say that my villi are flattened, and that they suspect celiacs decease even without the biopsy results. I am now worrying about the smallest things, such as my cat's food containing wheat flour (she licks my hands a lot), and products listing they are gluten free, but manufactured in the same place as gluten containing products (things like my favorite candy airheads). This is going to be a massive adjustment that will change everything. I'm worried how this will change my relationships, dating, and hanging out with friends. I live with my family and have been GF 7 months since I was diagnosed allergic to gluten, but I never cut it out as much as I should've for a celiac diagnosis (shared oven and airfryer, cross contamination from restaurants). I'm really looking for tips on how to manage these next few weeks until the confirmed diagnosis and biopsy results. What should I prioritize worrying about?
