Is £11,500 a good buy for this 200tdi

Doesn't have a galvanised chassis but if it truly is solid. Would this be a good buy?

To defender or not

I currently drive a free lander 2, it runs great and I have no issues with it. However, being automatic it's super easy to drive and very comfortable. As much as I love it, it's sort of missing that character to it and I am very interested in a defender. I think mainly a 300tdi, a smart choice I'm not sure. This has been probably done a few times over but I am seeking out as much knowledge as I can. I probably do up to 15000 miles yearften a fair few of those are long motorway journeys. Would I soon regret this, for the people that do these kind of miles or more what is the experience like keeping a defender running? And in regards to mileage, a good galvanised chassis is a big green flag, if a vehicle is up to 250-300 thousand miles but on a solid chassis, would there be any concerns there?

Lastly, I know I am after a 110 so I can somewhat sleep in the back, are there any other simple van type vehicles that I can look at?
