Hi everyone, first post here. I own a 4 string bass. What do you guys think of this set up? Also, I am looking at preamps. Any you guys recommend? I’m looking to recreate the bass tone of the Thompson Twins. Check songs like “watching” and “hold me now”. Let me know your advice and opinion.

Hi everyone, first post here. I’m a bassist. How does one recreate the bass tone of the Thompson Twins on a 4 string fretted bass guitar? I really like the bass tone in songs like “Watching” and “Hold Me Now”. What kind of pedals would you recommend, amp settings or even bass guitars?
