Sandwich leftovers yardsale
It was painful weeks cleaning beloved treasures and unused sport stuffs, large artificial trees, and stuff. Then the day, a glorious sunny and all of a sudden HOT day. Oh, it’s summer!
Turn out was good but are you looking for MY stuff, did I price it too high are you willing to do the dance of joy and ask me to lower my price - oh come on… let’s have fun. Mostly yes, and I was happy to give things away especially to the youngers - but there’s always the one! The fabricating fibber who shows up at 7 when your posts say 9 and your signs say 9 and you’re already exhausted and pulling tons of items onto the driveway with the in-laws and their stuff.
‘But I own the new shop “xyz” ‘ then her purchases and comments decry her statement. Hmmm, what would I do with this, but I love it… Well, if you have a shop, you’re gonna sell it you fibbing cow!
Most of the day was fine but I’m too old for what I used to love as a yard sale.
I guess I’ll be donating a whole bunch of stuff.
