I used PanPastel and a few pastel pencils on CF ingres paper, not many layers possible but still enjoyed the process.
I am a but concerned about using to many tints with white, any feedback on this topic?

Ended up more bold and expressionistic this time and wanted to embrace the oranges/reds and purples from the reference image (me)
Tried my best to capture the lighting of yesterdays sky, it was so beautiful..

Haven't touched my pastels in a while and recently had the urge to use them.
I struggle a lot with the colors and I am insecure if I am good enough for an investment in a few more decent soft pastels..

I realized I need some darker darks for the background areas, hat to combine three colors to reach that level not using pure black.
Didn't touch my pastels in a while and felt a bit insecure about the color desicions..
