Are Supercarriers becoming obsolete in the age of drones and AI?
With the advances in drones, anti-ship ballistic missiles, and stealth technology, are the American supercarriers becoming a white elephant? Takes a tremendous amount of resources to keep that fleet operating. The USS Ford is scheduled for a 14 month overhaul. That's longer than it was deployed.
