Always been a somewhat fit guy, been going to the gym for roughly 8 years, with some breaks in between. ive been able to bench 385 at my peak. so i’ve been in the game for a while.
the girlfriend effect hits me hard and i become complacent in training and diet.
after coming from a 230lb to 192lb natural cut i found myself a lady and became once again complacent. she dumped me november 2025 and it was go time baby. had the chance to try reta. i gave it a shot as i’ve cut down significantly a few times before and was interested in how this would aid in weight/fat loss.
started reta december 27th 2025 currently down to 169lb may 30th 2026.
my dosing schedule is a little bizarre compared to the trials, it’s just how ive wanted to do it. i ramped up dosing fairly quickly as sides were not impacting me after full initial saturation. currently on 6mg taken every 3rd day.
it’s definitely easier to maintain a very strict diet while on reta. previous cuts had more food noise and desire to break diet was definitely stronger. As for the ratio of weight loss to time, i would say it’s roughly the same for me as a normal strict cut. although i would say plateaus have been quicker/easier to break while on reta.
anyways thats my observation on glp3 and am willing to answer questions regarding anything stated here.
